Excellent evening! Great atmosphere, the duck meatballs and grilled branzino were wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!

The service was amazing as always as well as the magnificent and unique wine list. The appetizers (crudo, baby bib salad) were also great. Our pastas were good but a bit salty (we had the bucatini and the zucchini special) .

Alway enjoy the bar, great for aperitivo as well as eating. Bartenders are always friendly. This particular evening Dan was on duty, well done !! Jake is also a pleasure.

First time here to celebrate a birthday. Very impressed. The food is outstanding. Right up there with all the top Italian restaurants in the city. The arctic char appetizer was truly memorable. My daughter had a special that was simply prepared with pasta olive oil pecorino and fried zucchini. A home run. My pasta dish with the blue crab was excellent as were the branding and gemelli with sausages. All dishes were layered with flavor. Simple dishes are the hardest because every ingredient must work perfectly. Solid service, excellent wine list and creative room. You can actually talk to your guests. Will absolutely return . Highly recommend.

This was our first time dinning at Il Totano. Food and service both were great! We sat on a table in the back room area. Tables at I’ll Totano was very comfortable and not noisy around so I felt very comfortable having a dinner and enjoy conversation with a friend who I went with. Wine selections were great match with food. I would love to come back to try other dishes again.

Every morsel is delicious and a cut above what would be expected. Every dish is fresh and light and inventive-- you will want to come back again and again to try the whole menu. And then there is the oh so friendly and professional service. I can't wait to go back....

We were early so we sat up at the bar for an aperitivo and the bartenders were very friendly and polite. We ordered the branzino and it was delicious; a must order. Our server was very friendly and kind, great guy. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and next time I’m in New York I will definitely visit again
