The butternut squash ravioli with lobster and scallops could be the best meal I have had in years. Thanks for such a special dinner

The filet was overcooked which wasn’t the biggest problem. It didn’t taste like Filet. It almost tasted like a re fire. The sauce they served with the filet mignon tasted like a gravy packet. It was very strange. I could have stomached overcooked steak but not steak that doesn’t take like filet for 50 dollars a la carte. We ordered the creamed spinach and it tasted like it was frozen spinach. Mashed potatoes were ok. Salad was overdressed. They brought out my steak almost five minutes before my husbands meal and without any sides. So I just sat there staring at it. I am not sure why the food didn’t come out together when the place was empty. Very disappointing. We spent like 170 for dinner and didn’t drink any alcohol at all. We won’t be going back. If they can not put all the food on the table at the same time on a quiet night, they don’t stand a chance. Sorry

Had a lovely time in this new restaurant. I suggest you give it a try, and the chef was a pleasure to speak with. Food was very good!

Classy and comfortable; this place is a definite gem. The staff was incredibly attentive, including the host Benny and our server John. My compliments to the chef (Darius) as our dishes, (apps through dessert) were outstanding. I normally don’t recommend specific dishes but I will make an exception for their calamari and the Fioretti Rustica. Everything was fresh and made to order. In an area that has plenty of dinner options, Il Toscano should be at the top of your list.

Always an outstanding meal . From the moment you walk in , the Hostess Mary greets you like family , and checks with you during your meal , the manager Benny stops at every table to check on your experience too ( he is also very active in clearing and setting up tables etc. ) we often have John as our waiter and he is excellent . The service at IL Toscano is truly exceptional. We feel like we are at a the finest of Restaurants run by the nicest group of people that work together like a family . The decor inside feels like a fine steakhouse with comfortable black leather seating , large windows with black frames and even the glasses appear so clear they sparkle . They also have a lovely outdoor patio courtyard which we enjoy when weather is nice often with live music . Best for last , the chef is wonderful, We have dined here as a couple and with family, we all love their chef and often enjoy the specials the food is scrumptious , On occasion we have been able to chat with the owner Met , his stories make it a dining experience to cherish . We are often treated to a delicious Limoncello after dinner drink .We are fortunate to have IL Toscano Restaurant in Commack . They just celebrated their One Year Anniversary

Enjoyed our dining experience from start to finish. We were welcomed and seated immediately. Bread and drinks were brought out quickly. Staff is amazingly friendly and responsive. Food was really good. We liked that they recently changed their menu selections. We sometimes stop going to restaurants because the same offerings get boring. Good to change it up occasionally. Overall great Saturday night dinner!!

Drinks were good. Lavendar Lemon Drop was delicious. Food: calamari was okay. Nothing special. We all ate seafood. Salmon was a edible, not great. Sauce on salmon was tasteless. Seafood ravioli was sent back. The scallops were bad tasting and ravioli was pasty. Seafood did not taste fresh. We tried this place and we all decided no need to go back. Prices are average but way too much for quality of food we received.

Very disappointed. Chose to go here because I liked the predecessor rest was good. Met good friends there who just came from No Carolina. 6:30 reservations and not another table was occupied inside or outside on patio. We were alone all night except for a couple of diners around 730. Wait staff was attentive but nobody else was there. First order of drinks one of 4 was incorrect (really?). Apps were fine. Caesar's salads,crab cake (singular) and meatballs. Entrees were fair very salty. Two were overcooked scallops and lobster hard and chewy. Ribeye overdone. Risotto was primarily and mound of rice not risotto. Pork chop was good. Anyway no I cannot recommend this establishment. Sorry.
