Welcome to IL Porto, where we've brought a little piece of Italy to Brooklyn. Using the finest ingredients and wood burning brook oven, we produce traditional thin crust pizza baked to perfection. Our delicious entrees are prepared using recipes passed from generation to generation and are complimented by our homemade desserts. Always hits the spot. Their Specials are good. Love the menu and very helpful staff. Really a neighborhood gem.

Walked in, they automatically helped us pick a seat and they encouraged us to take pictures or if we wanted our picture taken. The place could use some remodeling, but the Cantina area with the wine bottles was beautiful. Very attentive, the bread is THE BOMB (homemade). The olive oil is good. The eggplant stuffed with mozzarella and ricotta was great. Fried calamari was good. The Gnocchi with tomato sauce and mozzarella was okay, I wasn’t crazy about it, too much basil mixed in. The Margarita pizza was okay but not like CT. The espresso was great. Definitely kid friendliness, non handicap bathroom accessibly if you have a wheelchair and free street parking. Overall, 7.5/10. Everyone has different tastebuds, definitely check them out and take picture in The Cantina.

The perfect atmosphere for our small graduation celebration. We chose IL Porto for the brick oven pizza; we were not disappointed!! We highly recommend this place and will be coming back!

What a lovely, casual red sauce Italian experience. Relaxed, good service, great live music and delicious food. Doesn’t get better for a meet up w friends. Highly recommend!

Best in Brooklyn! Took my spouse here for her birthday. The service was excellent. The food is delicious and tasty. They even had all the staff sing happy birthday. You should give this place a try. Highly recommended,

We absolutely love Il Porto. We planned a surprise party for my husband here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was delicious, the service was kind and efficient, and our family from out of town was so impressed. Our toddlers had a great time too! We order the pizza at least once a week but we’re always so glad to come sit in the restaurant for family events, because we know we’ll be comfortable and taken care of. Thank you Il Porto!!

Stumbled upon this place and experienced some pros and cons. The burrata appetizer special, the homemade cheesecake and potato croquette were amazing! The owner and the staff were also so incredibly friendly and accommodating. But the live band is extremely loud for the small space, so it was difficult to converse. The portion sizes are also a bit overwhelming, and the risotto serving in particular was way too much and wasn’t seasoned well. Cocktails were also just okay. Not a bad night overall. Small tweaks would make this spot amazing.

They frequently have a music quartet that can make things uncomfortably loud for conversation. Food was great...pizza not to be missed.
