Our evening at iL Pomodoro on 2/14/25 started promisingly, arriving just before our 7:00 PM reservation. A short wait was made pleasant by the hostess offering drinks. While initially engaging, our server's wine knowledge was lacking. We ordered the Italian Egg Rolls, which were decent but not outstanding, arriving after a 15-minute wait. By this point, 30 minutes in, other patrons were already receiving their entrees. Unfortunately, our main course order was lost, resulting in a 60-minute wait. Despite repeated assurances from our server, our meals didn't arrive until 90 minutes after we arrived. The hostess was apologetic, offering either a complimentary dessert or appetizer removal. My fish special was just okay, but my wife enjoyed her meal. The restaurant was bustling, and departing guests raved about the food. Our experience, however, fell far short of expectations. While the hostess tried to make up for the error, the server seemed less concerned with resolving the issue, and management involvement was minimal. The excessive wait and order mix-up significantly impacted our dining experience. While the food had some redeeming qualities, the poor service overshadowed it. Would I return? Perhaps, but this "one off" was undoubtedly a significant disappointment.

Excellent, attentive service, great food. The warm bread is to die for! I would ask for the Calamari Arrabiata to be spicier, but that's a personal preference. Easy to get to, easy parking, and one of our favorites.

It was our first time here. We enjoyed everything. The atmosphere was more upscale and quiet. The restaurant was clean. Service was very good and so was the food. My husband really enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was delicious but it would be better with less peas and mushrooms. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely go back again.

We both had the fish special, Grouper Piccata. My was fine but my partner said his was fishy and there was the stench in the air of a day old fish. I think the server was new and seemed really confused. He couldn’t answer our questions and struggled to get our drink orders completed. After that the hostess made sure everything was right.
