Il Pesce is a walk-in only restaurant that offers a true counter-to-table experience - we cook what we sell, and we sell what we cook. Our chefs will be serving the same fish you see at our fishmonger counter! All our seafood is responsibly sourced by suppliers who help ensure that our seafood is caught in ways that consider the long term vitality of the species and the ocean.

Il Pesce delivers consistently on quality food and an excellent choice of accompanying wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. I particularly enjoyed the Muscato d'Asti, an unusual offering, which accompanied the lively flavors of the Bigole alla Vongole perfectly, providing a bright freshness that did not interfere with the complex flavors of the dish. Service was congenial and informal, yet seriously competent, from waiter to the assistants who quietly responded to any requests. Our conversation with a visiting guest was not rushed or interrupted and was supported by the general ambiance without being overwhelmed by it. Much obliged for a pleasant meal!

Il Pesce, one of Flatiron Eataly's many restaurants,. provided a wonderful menu, great service and delicious food. If you want a taste of Italian cuisine with a seafood focus, this is your place.

I’ve eaten at Il Pesce many times, usually as a special Christmas Eve day treat for me and my daughter. It was always so wonderful. We went back this past week for dinner and were so disappointed. The food was not nearly as good as in the past. Not nearly as fresh or tasty. The crisp was inedible. Three of us left very disappointed, especially after our past experiences. I hope it was just a bad day, because we always loved it in the past.

Sat at counter for Friday dinner. Watched the cooking. Menu has an abundence of seafood options. Food comes out fast.

We had a reservation at 6:30. Place wasn’t busy, but service was poor, clumsy server, rude attitude, and the food was subpar, very disappointed. It is like going to a neighborhood diner.

The meal was excellent and the service fine, but the Maitre D had a little bit of an attitude when I told him it was really loud and maybe also the restaurant felt like a food court at a Mall... When you spend 325$ for 2, I believe a little more intimacy would be needed. I Would never go back, and mostly I would never recommend this restaurant to any of my friends. They can do much better just next door. And a side note to the Maitre D, when a client that has spent 325$ for two, gives you very politely constructive criticism, just say yes, I will pass this information to the management, even if you don't do. Don't answer back, well that's not what we were going for. It's rude.

Food is great! Seafood is fresh! Service is quick. We had the seafood pasta with olive oil and the branzino. Branzino was really fresh. You can taste the ocean!

Pasta was cooked perfectly, I ordered the seafood/red sauce w linguine which was delicious, pasta was home made/fresh and cooked perfectly and the sauce was light and flavourful. My only complaint is that there was not much seafood in it at all. 2 small clams and tiny bits and pieces of shrimp, I think one tiny mussel. For the price I expected more seafood and at least one full shrimp, not tiny pieces of shrimp, Also no bread was served at table (if you are a pasta restaurant I would think bread would be a staple at the table) and my waiter didn't offer any parm cheese which I think would be offered at the same time my plate was served to me. Service was just ok. These day's I think that customer service should be a #1 priority esp in an environment where there are multiple restaurants in the same place. Where your business could make a impression in a client and set urself apart from the competition customer service could make the biggest difference.

The whole Eataly expierence was spectacular. The shopping of all the Italian specialites was out of this world. As for the food and service at IL Pesce; ir was fabulous. The linguine with seafood was too die for. The service was equally as good. We already have our next visit planned. Wonderful place.
