Was a wonderful dining experience. From start to finish. Wait staff was top notch, and the best part was the food was delicious. Highly recommend

Il Pastaio is a lovely restaurant. It is also very busy, but the service does not suffer from that. I have been to many of the Drago restaurants and they all range from 4 to 5 stars. My friend and I started with splitting a salad. Everything in that salad and its dressing was perfect and fresh. For his main course he chose a chicken dish, which he enjoyed. I ordered a risotto mixed with salsichia sausage. It was not good. It was heavy, thick and would have been more useful as a paperweight. I ate a few fork-fulls and gave up. However, I took it home and the next day I "doctored" it with various seasonings and used a few dollops of milk to thin it out a bit. It worked! By the way, their wines per glass are reasonably priced and their House Chardonnay was just fine. Would I go back? Absolutely yes. Every restaurant has a bad day, but this one has too high a track record to ignore.

Love this place - come often how we I had never experienced service like this before: today was just confusion because we had to ask multiple times for water and bread. Nobody came by to refill us, had to ask runners for water and drinks. Just baffling service

Overall, our experience at the restaurant was nice, highlighted by a delicious meal and inviting atmosphere. We indulged in the lobster pasta and risotto Nero, both of which were exceptional in flavor and presentation. The burrata was creamy and fresh, perfectly complementing our dishes. We also enjoyed a variety of drinks that enhanced our dining experience, followed by a delightful tiramisu for dessert that was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. However, our experience was overshadowed by the service we received from the hostesses. We had a reservation for a table at 8 PM but ended up waiting until 9:15 PM to be seated. To add to our frustration, several parties that arrived after us were seated before we were, which made us feel overlooked and disappointed. While the food and ambiance were enjoyable, the lengthy wait and lack of attentiveness from the hostesses detracted from our evening. I hope the management addresses this issue, as improving the hosting process would greatly enhance the overall experience for future guests.

Service was poor. The server was great, however he was slammed. I feel that this restaurant overbooks. Zero experience, just a lot of people standing, waiting, etc. Food was good.

First time in LA and already a bullseye culinary experience. Fantastic service, pittoresk environment and finally a waiter who spoke Italian ! What a dream experience. Gave all the stars of the firmament to this ‘little diamond’ in LA. Damn, I really regret to go back to NC.

Food was a mess visually and unrefined. Seafood quality was average and reminded me of Red Lobster, not a high-end Beverly Hills iconic establishment. Service was nonchalant and neglectful. Rough around the edges vibe. Touristy. Mgmt is resting on its laurels.

Last night, my friends and I had an incredible dinner at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills. The food was absolutely phenomenal, with every dish bursting with flavor. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauces were rich and satisfying, and the portions were generous. Our server, Michele, was exceptional. he was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like VIPs. His recommendations were spot on. If you're looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in Beverly Hills, Il Pastaio is a must-visit!
