Great little charming neighborhood restaurant. Staff was wonderful as well as the taste and the quality of the food. Cooked to perfection. Prices are on target for the amount you get. We all had leftovers the next day. Definitely a place I’d pop into any night when I want a quiet delicious meal. Parking is easy as well.

The feel of a cozy neighborhood restaurant with the food (especially pasta) quality of the best Italian restaurants in the city. I will be back again and again.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. My party of four had a Friday night reservation, and from the start, it was evident that things were poorly managed. We tried calling ahead to ask about parking but couldn’t reach anyone—only a voicemail. Street parking was the only option, and the meters weren’t working properly. Other groups, like ours, were left confused and worried about being towed. It was not a great first impression. Even with a reservation, we waited 20 minutes for our table. Once seated, we were handed a one-page menu that didn’t match the online version. Many items we were interested in weren’t available for dine-in, only for takeout and delivery. It’s frustrating to advertise a menu that’s not fully available to dine-in customers. We tried ordering pizza and garlic rolls, but were told the pizza would take 40 minutes and the garlic rolls 20. After waiting 45 minutes with no food and minimal attention from our waiter, we decided to leave. The restaurant wasn’t even full at this point, which made the long wait even more unacceptable. We couldn’t even get our drinks refilled, and it was clear that the staff did not value our time or business. We left and went elsewhere for dinner. I left $20 on the table to cover the drinks and informed the bar staff to cancel our order. Ten minutes after we left, I received a call from the restaurant asking if something was wrong. Unfortunately, the call came too late, and the damage was already done. This restaurant needs to seriously reconsider its approach to customer service. The disorganization, lack of communication, and failure to value customers' time and money are major issues. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone who values good service and efficiency. The regret here is entirely theirs.

It was absoulely delicious … outstanding service and quiet so we could actually talk and hear each other. We went back the next night and brought our friends with us . They are raving about it. It will be our new meeting spot ! I highly recommend it .

My wife and I tried Il Nido for the first time, came across it on openable, and we were celebrating our anniversary (thanks for the 🥂). The host, owner I assume, was very nice, had a great attitude and made it fun. The food was really good, we both had fresh pasta and the meatball appetizer was really good, very nostalgic for me and the sauce was amazing. I would highly recommend it, definitely check it out if you like Italian!
