    The food was terrific, and the staff were so good. It's definitely a new date night place. The live music is a little loud but livable

    The best Italian restaurant in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Exceptional service, authentic Italian food, wonderful choice of dishes - a little haven of Italy tucked away between busy streets. Christian and his team consistently provide the highest level of service and their attention to detail is impeccable. Food is delicious and fresh, the kind that would make any nonna proud!

    Lovely ambience and enjoyed the live entertainment of the pianist while we enjoyed our dinner out on the terrace. Prices were very reasonable too. Staff and service was professional and courteous a. Tutti Bene! 🇮🇹

    Booked table for two to celebrate friend's birthday. The dining area was mostly empty as a few other tables of guests came and preferred to sit at the patio. It was one hot Saturday evening but inside the dining area there seem to be no air conditioning. We stayed indoors anyway because outside at the entrance area there was a swamp of black flies and we didn't want them on our food. Waiters were attentive and patient as we were talking much and therefore ate at a slower pace. They kept checking to make sure we finished our appetizers before serving us our pastas. My Spaghetti de Scoglio with tomato sauce was yummy with lots of seafood. My friend's Clam pasta in White Wine sauce had lots of clams too but she found it a bit too oily. Since I mentioned to the servers that it was my friend's birthday, they brought her a piece of tiramisu cake with a candle, and the live piano player played her the birthday song at the same time. That was a thoughtful and nice touch to end our dining experience at II Nido.

    Food was prepared and presented with care and to order. A nice meal and some nice super Tuscan wines to select. A very good piano player. The patio is a little funky but don’t let that stop you from enjoying this restaurant.
