I love the ambiance of II Melograno. My waiter whom I seem to always get when I go there is part of the lovely experience. Food is good; wine pairing perfect; service is great.

After thoroughly enjoying 2 meals here within the past year (and several before that), I looked forward to this latest outing. However, the food was very uneven - some excellent, some not so much, and the veal ravioli, which has been spectacular in the past, was merely good. The service was rather sporadic - barely giving us time to look at the menus before wanting to take our order and once we ordered wine and appetizers, it took quite a while to get someone to take our entree order. It's a casual vibe, which I like, and while the music was not obtrusive, the overall noise level was on the verge of making conversation difficult. All that said, I would certainly return - 1 so-so visit is not disqualifying.

We ate prior to going to theatre. The 2 pasta dishes we ordered were very good, veal ravioli and oriecchette with sausage and goat cheese were very, very good. The wine was very nice and the suggested amaro also delicious. A keeper on the far west side.

Always an amazing experience! My grandma who was visiting absolutely loved it and is still raving about how yummy everything was. Thank you all for always taking such great care of us ❤️

Took my family of 7 people, including my 81 year-old mother, for dinner after the theatre. Cannot say enough good things about the service and the food. Started off with burrata and grilled octopus for the table. Burrata was creamy, and the tomatos were tasty. Grilled octopus was flavorful, smoky grilled, and very tender. Steak was amazing. Risotto with grilled shrimp was delicious, as evidenced by the clean bowl at the end. My husband had the swordfish, which he said was one of the best he has had. The gelato and cappuccino were the perfect ending. The service was excellent. They accommodated us, always made sure we had what we needed, served the food hot, and couldn't have been nicer. Just a lovely evening.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! It has a lovely atmosphere and great food. It was nice to get away from busy and “American” style restaurants and enjoy a nice Italian dinner. Our server was great, also treated us to a free dessert which was very thoughtful. We enjoyed everything from appetizers, salads, pastas and meat. Would recommend this to anyone looking for an intimate, reasonably priced Italian dinner.
