Since its inception in 1986, IL FORNELLO Restaurants has always been at the forefront of offering classic Italian fare with a modern flair. We were the first to introduce wood-fired oven pizzas to Toronto and one of the first mainstream restaurants to introduce an extensive plant-based menu. Known for its pizzas and pastas, each of our locations has special menu features tailored to its community and diners. Our menus also accommodate a wide-range of diets, from dairy-free to gluten-free – there’s something for everyone!

Second time at this location and it was spectacular. Will definitely be coming back more as it’s right around the corner from me

Overall the food was a bit in the higher end for the amount received. And the only big complaint was it took way longer than expected to get our mains for a table of 8. Our server Chow (I think her name was) was very pleasant accommodating

The prices were very reasonable and the drink special was very good. We chose app and mains, I would have loved to see more flavour. I will try it again and keep it simple by ordering the pizza and salad - which looked really good.

I had dinner with an old friend. Our server was excellent. For the most part the food was good and reasonably priced. I thought my pasta was a bit dry but everything was tasty. It was quite cold in the restaurant tonight - to the point of it being a distraction. Other than that it was a good evening.

The Gnocchi was great. The calamari could be a bit more spicy. The service was spectacular. I will definitely go back.

The specials were outstanding & great value for your money. Nice atmosphere, & the service was great. Will definitely go again. Great experience.

Service was quick and attentive. pizza good, cannelloni a bit bland, desserts delicious. Good value. Ambience standard cafeteria style. Noise level quite high.

Too small. Seating is not great. Feels like sitting in a mall food court

I recently came for dinner with a few of my friends and they had recently changed the menu so we were so excited to try a bunch of the new items. We were served by our amazing server Bianca she was very friendly and provided great service. I recommend asking for her if you go to Il Fornello at Sherwood Village.
