The staff went above and beyond for my girlfriend and I's anniversary night. They did an amazing job making the night truly special. The food was wonderful and the service was exceptional. Would come back again 100%!

One of our favorite places - great ocean view, good food, and friendly staff. I had the seafood last and ny wife had inslada Regina topped with grilled salmon- both excellant.

Il Fornaio-Del Mar is a very good restaurant! We don't live in California, but when we are in the area, we always try to have dinner there. There are some great views of the ocean, if you sit on the covered patio. Highly recommended!

The food was amazing as well as our server Ruby! She was training but she rocked it and did an amazing job! Very helpful and attentive! Will come back, and request Ruby as our server again! 10/10

We had such an excellent dining experience!! The food was cooked perfectly, and the view was beautiful at sunset. The supervisor came to our table and took extra care of our child’s food allergies. Will be back.

Food was excellent , as were the views. Service was good in general but slow for items from the bar. Wines by the glass are quite aggressively priced.

Great experience. Great service. We dined the night before at a very popular restaurant in town and it was more expensive but terrible food and service. Very happy all around at this restaurant!

The food was great. I wish that the waiter explained about the special menu to us and also ask about the drink before bringing the antipasti. We were not asked about the extra cheese for the bolognese pasta either,
