This beautiful restaurant is a short walk away from Madison Square Park, Il Fiorista means The Florist in Italian, where we explore botanical ingredients in our brunch, dinner, and bar menus. Much like Italian cuisine this allows for local and seasonal produce, we source from the Union Square Greenmarket and local producers. Il Fiorista is open seven days a week for dinner and aperitivo hour, also weekend brunch with indoor and patio seating featuring specials from our extensive wine list and cocktails. Also our private dining is available for large parties and events.

What a meal! Authentic Italian flavors every bite we took! We had bruschetta, pappardelle aragosta, and tiramisu! The chef brought us some arancini with truffles and mushrooms in aoili sauce that was delicious and our waiter Andrew gave the best service and even brought us a scoop of his favorite gelato, lavender flavor! The meal was great from beginning to end and Andrew was very professional and always smiling, making the experience personal. We will go back and recommend to all!

Food was not it. Thankfully they had salt pepper on the table so the pasta had a bit of taste. Drinks and service were good.

The place is really cute. Food was excellent - had the butternut squash ravioli. We had a 6:30 reservation and they said since no one confirmed it, we had to wait. I don’t think we got to a table until about 8. Our waitress was very nice - so nothing against her, but would’ve maybe expected to get some comp items for the long wait or something.

It can be frustrating when you're not seated promptly, and we always try our best to anticipate reservation changes. Unfortunately because of the last minute change in party size, we weren't able to accomodate you and your guests as quickly. I hope this momentary lapse in service will not dissuade you from visiting again. We also love the Butternut Squash Ravioli and hope to see you again while it's still in season.

Really nice food, lovely ambience. Service was slow - and perhaps it was our server’s first night on the job, so we’ll give that some grace. But our group of 6 was asked to vacate the table after 90 minutes bc of a waiting foursome. Like I said, service had been slow - we hadn’t gotten drinks until we’d waited 20+ min and asked twice. When we were asked to vacate the table, we each still had wine in our glasses and hadn’t ordered dessert (note - we skipped dessert bc they really wanted the table). Seemed off to rush a big group who was clearly enjoying the food - several appetizers, 6 mains, drinks when we could get them.

We had a wonderful experience at Il Fiorista! Everything was delicious! Our server, Jodie was excellent and so sweet. We had the arancini, crispy artichokes, lotus chips and apple & spinach salad to start. The lavender pasta was so interesting-and delicious! Our table also ordered the steak , the white bolognese pasta and the spring vegetables. We cleaned our plates. So good and such a pleasant experience overall. We will be back!
