Chef Mario Marfia was born in Sicily, Italy and honed his craft working as a chef in the Mediterranean. He brings those culinary and cultural influences to El Paseo in Palm Desert, and the New Downtown of Palm Springs.
Il Corso restaurant offers genuine Italian hospitality serving a wonderful variety of traditional Italian dishes, fresh salads, homemade pastas, wood oven pizzas and delicious seafood. In addition to our regular menu, Chef Mario prepares nightly specials from all over Italy like “the world’s best gnocchi,” and our house specialty, roasted leg of veal. Start your meal off with an Italian style inspired cocktail and remember to save room for all of your favorite Italian homemade desserts to complement your dinning experience.

Fresh oysters not great and no oyster fork or spoons for the mignonette. Need to make more of an effort if offering them. Lamb chops and calamari both good but not great. Nice spot overall tho.

Ambience was fantastic food was mediocre. Nothing special about the cuisine. Likely would not return.

Dinner for three on a Saturday the Black Manhattan was one of the best except they said with. Black cherry and I know maraschino when I taste one. That is my only complaint. We had three pastas the bolognese, the lobster and the sausage and truffle;all were wonderful and I was very happy they didn’t over use the truffle oil Would go again

If you’re looking for a solid meal this is a good place to fill up. Tasty but nothing too over the top. Nice wine list!

Had an amazing experience. The service was great from the moment we walked through the door. The food was delicious. Only one thing would have made the service better; the servers being versed on the wine. Overall. Great and we will be back!

Went for dinner at I’ll Corso on our last night in town. We wish we would have gone earlier in our vacation because we would have gone back multiple times during our stay in Palm Springs!!!! The food was FABULOUS, service IMPECCABLE, GREAT VALUE and everything about our experience there was WONDERFUL!! Next time we are in town this will be our first of multiple stops!! Delicious, delicious, delicious!!
