il Bracco is an upscale Italian restaurant in the heart of Uptown, Houston, located in Post Oak Plaza. Our menu features handmade pastas, fresh salads, hand-cut steaks & seafood, and an extensive yet approachable wine list.

Breads, pasta and dessert are made from scratch, in house daily.

Our dining room is made of intimate booths with a full service bar and cocktail lounge, as well as a quiet patio with an outdoor fire place.

My friend and I had an incredible dining experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Sam, our amazing waiter. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Sam took the time to explain the menu, recommend dishes, and even introduced us to some new items we wouldn’t have thought to try ourselves – and let me tell you, everything he suggested was absolutely delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of energy and coziness. The food was packed with flavor and beautifully presented, and the drinks were perfectly crafted – honestly some of the best I’ve had. This place exceeded our expectations in every way, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a spot with outstanding service, fantastic food and drinks, and a great atmosphere, this is it. 10/10, I’ll definitely be back!

This was our first time visiting here and the experience was exceptional! Our waiter was friendly, offered several suggestions from the menu and even made a point to bring out a special anniversary dessert for my wife and I celebrating our 13th anniversary. Price was fair for amount of food, quality of ingredients and the atmosphere. We will definitely be returning again and again!

My fiancée and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Very nice date spot with very tasty Italian food. I got the Bolognese and my fiancée got the spicy gemelli, which were both fantastic.

Our third time at Il Bracco was the best so far. The flat lasagna (an off the menu special) was unique and delicious. The sea bass was also very enjoyable. The pinot noir (Failla) was reasonably priced and quite good. We ended the evening with a properly made latte. All servers were professional and pleasant. Highly recommend.

The food and service are good, and the surroundings are attractive, but it sounds like the pole dancers will be on stage any minute now. Thump, thump, thump.

I enjoyed lunch with my wife and her sister. The focaccia with ricotta is delicious. My sister in law had the burrata salad which I had had before and recommended to her. It is a very nice serving. Just right, not very large. My wife had the kale and chicken salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had The Plaza salad. It had a generous serving of very fresh feta cheese. Chloe took fabulous care of us making sure our water glasses were always full and paid close attention to many little details. The only thing I wish is for the music volume to be a little bit lower. I look forward to going back.

I had a reservation at 8:15 pm, and I wasn’t seated until 9 pm. By that point, things as common as bread were already sold out. The food isn’t worth the price, and it certainly isn’t worth the wait. Will never return to this restaurant.

4 of us showed up a little early for our reservation and it was clear they were a little behind as no one wanted to leave such a great place. We happily went to the really nice bar for some great cocktails. The super nice mgr found out we were waiting, tracked us down and offered us a free appetizer for the inconvenience. We were seated about 5 minutes later. Service was excellent and the food even better. A relatively small menu but who cares when every dish tastes so good. We started with the excellent Crudo sashimi plate with capers. The ny strip was cooked perfectly and presented really nicely in thin slices. The linguine shrimp was delicious as was the special seafood stew. The atmosphere is great and watching the action in the open kitchen is a special touch.
