We had brunch there last Sunday. Overpriced for value. Service was slow and inattentive for a supposed “high quality” inn experience and the highest priced fixed price brunch in town. Appetizers were good but crab soufflé entree tasted like canned crab in a large ramekin with store bought pastry topper. The “gelato” was more like an iced pistachio. Menus appeared old, wrinkled and tattered. Weren’t seated properly. Pointed to our table from across the room. Parking lot was packed with parking next door - not a good option for 2 seniors with mobility limitations. Phoned general manager who listened about concerns but got the impression she may get many complaints and had a standard response of we’re sorry and hope you’ll try to let us prove you wrong the next time. No thanks! The quality of my experience was very disappointing and their quality standards have fallen considerably from 2020 when I was there last. Won’t be returning. Too bad, the property has such potential! Wasn’t going to post this but thought I’d warn those hoping for a really good experience.

The best dining experience ever, the food was first class, the staff magnificent and the ambiance absolutely wonderful. We look forward to a repeat the next time we are in London.

The Idlewyld Inn never disappoints. It's a beautiful building with lots of character. My husband and I got married at this venue several years ago and we return for dinner at least once per year around our anniversary. The cost for a meal is on par with other high end restaurants of similar caliber. The food presentation is always exquisite and the taste lives up to the presentation. There is an extensive wine list to complement your dinner. They are also very accommodating with respect to food allergies and preferences. We usually get dessert to go because we are too full after eating an appetizer and our main course. The desserts are too good to pass up!

The food was outstanding. Service was gracious & attentive. Sat on front patio- very pretty, historic and quiet spot within the City.

Great location good food and great service. The only issue is there might have been too much food. The outdoor patio is fabulous.

Idlewyld Inn offers luxurious meals that are both creative and delicious. Flavours are expertly blended to make each bite a new and exciting experience. The verandah is a lovely place to enjoy your meal, with the flowers and fountain setting a peaceful and beautiful touch. Idelwyld offer a truly different experience.

Food offerings were original and not only delicious but eye pleasing too. Our server Katherine was tops. She new all the attributes of the dish and also was well informed on the wines we looked at.
