Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there.

Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.

Had a reservation at 2, wasn’t seated until a half hour later by a very unfriendly hostess who couldn’t be bothered to even walking us to our table. Besides that our server was great, food took about 40 minutes but it was a super packed Sunday so you can do anything about that. Super loud inside and would definitely sit outside next time!

Crawfish fritters with a spicy sauce were delicious. Fried chicken and spicy chicken were great too. Busy place with a fun vibe.

Victim of its own success. Still good, but not up to previous standards, e.g. shrimp no longer of same quality.

Not all food arrived at the same. Then we dad to send food back to fix. Server was very gracious.

Valentines special was so overrated. I wish we would’ve stuck with the regular menu. The drinks weren’t that great either, & they ran out of some things to make what I wanted. Overpriced for what it was.

Desiree! I'm so sorry you were disappointed. We served nearly 2000 guests on Valentines day and overwhelmingly they loved the Special. To each their own I guess, not everything is for everyone. We were a little surprised by that number though so we sold out of a couple of cocktails before the night was through. I'm sorry about that. I hat hate when folks don't get to enjoy the whole experience. I'm also very sorry the Valentines Day Special was a little pricy for y'all. If you are feeling a little more wallet conscious, I would love to invite you back for Vinal Hour. It is our version of Social hour, and we have lots of small shareable apps and a couple of bar drinks that are on special and deeply discounted. We would love to have you back to check it out!
