Le Hy's Toronto propose tout ce que l'on peut attendre d'un steakhouse classique, dans une atmosphère élégante et haut de gamme. À l'entrée, le salon chic invite à savourer des martinis à la fraîcheur parfaite. Et chaque coin repas est encore plus magnifique que le précédent, depuis la première salle, avec le célèbre barbecue en son milieu, en passant par l'atrium ouvert baigné de lumière, jusqu'à la mezzanine intime avec sa cheminée confortable et ses armoires à vins en acajou. Vêtus de blanc, les serveurs vous guideront avec professionnalisme et bonne humeur. La carte des vins médaillés vous séduira avec d'excellentes sélections provenant du monde entier. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and the service was excellent from the time we walked into the restaurant to the time we departed. Our waitress Robin was spectacular and her customer service was above and beyond. Her recommendation from the wine through to the dessert was on point. A very happy customer here.

What a disappointing experience. I come to Hys at least once a month and have noticed a decrease in quality. But the experience last night was worse than anything I could’ve imagined for Hys. Service was very, very slow. We had to wait 50 minutes for the steaks we ordered. Our waitress was anything but attentive. We had nut allergies. No one asked us about allergies and brought up a soup that had pecans in it. It was nearly impossible to try to get ahold of our waitress and to be frank, last night was not even busy. We had to call our waitress for the bill twice because she simply forgot. I ordered a Steak Au Poivre. The steak was extremely salty that it was almost inedible. My friend ordered a 16OZ Fillet Mignon, you would think for $154 per steak the quality would at least be decent - the steak was horrible. Let me clarify: the quality of the steaks itself wasn’t bad, but the way it was grilled and seasoned was far from being good. I’ve come to HYs enough time to know what items not to order. However, at this point I’m not even sure if there’s any item that’s safe to order anymore since the overall quality has gone down so much. Oh and we were seated in front of a TV playing sports. For quite a few moments I felt like I was in a sports bar, not a steakhouse that would cost me $400 a meal. Note to self: book an omakase restaurant instead next time.

Great ambience I prefer the old-fashioned flame or charcoal broiled rib steak over the new infrared technology that Hy’s has now incorporated The rib steak bone in I ordered was good however it tasted more like roast beef than the old fashion steak I was expecting

It's always perfect at Hy's. Expensive, obviously, but great for a special occasion. Went for a friend's birthday lunch and had the excellent lobster rolls, perfectly cooked steak, beautiful salmon. The cocktails are amazing here; I always get a Hedrick's Martini with a lemon twist. Best cocktail I've ever had.

Jonathan was our server and he was absolutely phenomenal. I went for my birthday with my cousins for the first time and he made our evening very special. Will definitely be returning.

I enjoyed another wonderful night at highs to celebrate my 50th birthday! As usual, I was not disappointed. I had the exact table I had requested with a perfectly prepared meal and a beautiful bottle of wine for myself and my wife to enjoy. A rare single malt afterwards insured a blissful ending to the evening. Thanks to all the staff at Hy's

Fantastic meal. Gorgeous restaurant Great service. A little too loud for business conversation And prices are quite steep especially for “Compliant business dinners” Other then the price we enjoyed the experience

Still our go to steakhouse. Caesar Salad, done tableside and to our liking, and Steak Tartare are simply the best.
