Le Hy's Steak House - Calgary est le petit dernier des restaurants raffinés, le premier Steakhouses du Canada depuis 1955. Cet établissement affiche une décoration moderne avec des lignes épurées et des textures de cuir, de velours, de bois et de pierres, revisitant ainsi le steakhouse classique. Il est également dotée d'une rôtisserie vitrée circulaire permettant de griller des steaks canadiens de qualité sur du charbon de bois. Le bar en forme de fer à cheval est entouré de différents types de coins salon et repas à la fois spacieux et intimes. Le menu propose des recettes classiques et nouvelles.     We ordered steak sandwiches and were asked what side did we prefer, I.e. mash potatoes, French fries, vegetables or Cesar salad. We picked the salad and did not realize that there was an extra charge $11.90 for 2 side salads. Should have told us. Not impressed with that.

    Hy’s was an excellent venue for a 55 birthday dinner as the service was impeccable and the food was perfect. Our server was professional and the live music added an extra special touch to the occasion.

    We treated our friends to a night Hy's in return for a night at their favorite steak house a few weeks ago. As expected, they're now converts who couldn't believe how much better the cocktails, Caesar salad, and filets were. But I never had any doubt. Bravo to the team at Hys's for consistently providing dining excellence in calgary.
