I’ve been to Hyde Park steakhouses before, but it has been a while. Last night we went to the Hyde Park in Crocker Park and without a doubt it is the worst overall experience I have had in many years. My boyfriend ordered a strip steak and I ordered filet medallions. We ordered a side of mashed potatoes. When I tell you that the potatoes were cold and tasted like paste, it’s an understatement. I mentioned this issue to our waiter who was very responsive and said he would get us a fresh side dish. Literally within less than two minutes the next side dish of potatoes came back, and they were stone cold, just like the first round. The only thing I can compare this to is cafeteria food. For that kind of money they should be firing brand new everything when people order. I am completely willing to bring an issue to the restaurants attention one time. If they repeat with something that is no better than the first problem I am not rejecting it twice. Also it is very hard to get our waiter to come back to our table once the food was delivered. We sat in the back room, which was very nicely appointed, but you could see the kitchen prep line and there had to be a dozen wait staff just standing there for many minutes waiting for dishes and such, which is fine, but hello we kinda needed our check and we’re sitting there for 30 minutes. The dinner was absolutely abominable. The service was good at the beginning, but then once the food was delivered completely nonexistent. It will be a very, very long time before I go back to a Hyde Park. Honestly, I’m willing to pay good money for good food and good service. This was good money for absolutely awful food and mediocre at best service. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

Our server Amanda was amazing! She was very kind and she provided great service to our party! The food was delicious! We will definitely come back again soon!

We were celebrating my birthday. My girlfriends and I had a wonderful experience! John our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. John and Cody brought me a special dessert and then brought each of us the flourless chocolate cake. They made me feel very special. We had the perfect evening with delicious dinners as well!!! Thanks to all!!!

Staff was very kind and accommodating. Steak and salmon were a little overcooked, but overall, it was a pleasant date night.

Took my girlfriend for her 21st birthday would 10/10 recommend she had an amazing time made her birthday feel special couldn’t have done it without everyone from the sous chef coming out to tell her happy birthday. Her receiving a birthday card from the hostess. If you ever have a special occasion this is the restaurant for you!

Went to Hyde Park for a birthday celebration and we could not be happier. Food came out better than expected, service was excellent and they even gave us a birthday card. Excellent all the way around.

The atmosphere was cozy with stylish decor. The cocktails were creative especially the Hibiscus Cosmo. Every dish was prepared with bold flavors and the staff was very friendly.
