    Food was good. Steak was juicy and flavorful. Bothe the lobster bisque and onion soup was excellent. The roasted corn with pancetta was unbelievably good. It was our anniversary/ baby moon, the staff made us a nice card to mark the occasion the only thing that put a dent in such a great night was the service. We sat down and the waiter took almost 30 min to come by and take our drinks order, another 40 min to get our appetizers. Mean while the table next to us that got sat down 30 min after us got their drinks and bread before we even got our water poured. The apps where good followed promptly by the main dish. The only thing that saved the night was that somehow the maître d' notice our long faces and changed the server mid service. That waiter was on point and everything flowed good after that. We got a complementary desert and our check after that and sent on our way at closing time. Wont be back here anytime soon.

    Beautifully appointed interior. From the Maitre de to the servers very attentive. My daughter in law has allergies and they were very accommodating. It is pricey but the food was delicious. Go here for special occasion. Worth the visit.

    For me, dining at Hyde Park was a big letdown. We waited at least 15 minutes before a server showed up with a bread basket and one pat of butter for three people. I ordered a small filet and expected it to taste better than when I cook filet at home, which I do simply by frying it in a pan on top of the stove. The filet at HP was the right degree of doneness, but there was no char and no special flavor. Also, when I make a filet of the same size at home, It costs $8. At HP it cost$54 and the flavor is no better. I would not go back to HP nor would I recommend it to others.

    My wife and I had reservations at 8 o'clock. My set down on a piece of glass and piece of glass got in her hand. They must of had a broken glass or plate and didn't clean it up very well before we sat down.

    First class steakhouse all the way, with but one exception. Matt and his fellow staff members, who work as a team to meet your every need, were flawless. They knew when to approach and when to leave you be. Extremely professional and a testament to their training. The food was expertly prepared by the kitchen and of great quality. The food from start to finish was superb. The one negative for the evening, was the overall noise level of the dining room and in particular one table of three fellows who felt compelled to drop one loud F bomb or M F'er after another forc2 hours running. That should have been addressed by management immediately and it never was. At one point I made eye contact with the main character and he quieted down for about 15 min before starting up again. Obviously, they'd had far too much to drink. I know it's a lot to ask, and nobody wants to turn away business in this economic environment, but the tasteless and obnoxious behavior of that one table filled the entire dining room.
