   Initially, our waitress attentive, items presented as ordered, drinks refreshed timely - but when it came time to pay the bill (and she was aware of our need to get to Symphony on time), the process was a disaster. We were told that there was a system update resulting in a slight delay. Which turned out to be a 25 minute delay, we were charged three times, presented with wrong bill and credit card twice and it was difficult to get someone's attention to address these issues. So, we were late, ending what was a great experience on a sour note, and there was no acknowledgement that the check out experience was a disaster, other than 'sorry'. The manager didn't come over nor was there a comped item on the bill for the poor ending to the evening. A disappointing outcome to say the least.

   There are many steakhouses in Indianapolis, that said, this is a very good place to go and the overall experience is very positive. If you go, you must get the Smores desert.

   We were in town for the Taylor Swift concert and had the pleasure of eating at Hyde Park Steakhouse. They were very accommodating when we needed to push our reservation back an hour because of the long merch lines. The food was great and prompt. Our server was awesome. He even made specialty, cold brew coffees for us that weren’t on the menu! Thank you!!

   Food wasn’t great overall. Appetizer’s disappointed and our steaks were not great. I will say the desert was the best part of the meal. We will not return.

   Great menu options at all price points. Small steakhouse w live music. Rare spirits collection. Wait staff was attentive. Tables were a bit close together. Overall, we will be back.

   A great evening to celebrate some recent milestones with a child. The evening started well with an appetizer of Wagu beef carpaccio and some 14 year old Oban scotch. I enjoyed the Steak Miller and a side of lobster Mac and cheese. A great filet, beautifully seared and cooked. Son was talked into the evening special, a bone in ribeye, aged well, with great marbling. Seared great and prepared in a way that accentuated the bourbon barrel notes as promised. Definitely an excellent suggestion. We paired the steaks with a bottle of Chianti that was similarly great. My second time at Hyde Park in Indianapolis and definitely will not be the last. Simply can’t be beat.

   Very nice atmosphere, talented live music. Service staff was very helpful and efficient. Also we got a free dessert for our anniversary which was nice and delicious.

    Was sat right next to the main door where the sewage smell penetrated that area really bad! Asked for Medium Well, closer to well done, and Steak had blood flowing! Also was charged an extra dollar on the steak which isn’t a problem but the menu say 71 so why am I charged 72! Waitress didn’t make clear of the adding, and charged us 5 dollars for garlic cloves, when my wife thought the garlic was going to be poured over it! Not to eat garlic cloves! Overall experience was not good for our anniversary and it was because we wanted to try something new from our normal Harry and Izzy’s or Eagles Nest but after that experience we will return to what we know!
