Dinner was perfect. I brought a couple with us this time because Hyde Park is my favorite. They did not disappoint and my friends love it. Our waitress was amazing.

Wagu steaks were under cooked. We sent them back.They were mediocre after getting charred on the outside. We were given a complimentary dessert. It was our anniversary, we were given a card and seated at a table with rose petals designed as a heart. Overall, ok experience. Next time we will go to Eddie Merlots.

We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. This was our first time dining at Hyde Park in Birmingham. Everything was excellent from the staff, food, and drinks to the atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Fairly terrible experience. Have eaten here before with great service and great food, but it seems like things have changed. Got there at 545pm with a party of 6 including a 5 year old and 7 year old. It was pretty empty at the time. Put the kids orders in within 5 minutes of getting there. Their orders took 45 minutes to come out. They were chicken tenders and fries and buttered noodles. Our soup and salads came out at least 30-40 min after we ordered them and our steaks came out more than an hour after we ordered. The guy who brought the steaks didn’t talk about the temperature of the steaks at all and ended up giving the wrong steak to my wife and dad. No bread offered. And after eating, no one cleared our plates ever. The food was decent, but it really just was a terrible steakhouse experience. There are lots of other steakhouses in the area. They’ve gotta do better.

Overall it’s very good when they get it right. The steak came out well done when ordered medium rare. The loaded potato came out very cold. Both items were returned and fixed. The oysters and drinks were excellent. Better music would improve the dining atmosphere.
