Welcome to Hutong Miami where our renown and occasionally fiery Northern Chinese cuisine meets artisanal dim sum and exotic signature cocktails created in our bars in Hong Kong, London and New York.

Here Chinese ‘yin' meets Miami ‘yang’ - 100-year-old Chinese bricks mingle with vivid pop-art colors, smooth dark chocolate mousse rub shoulders with heady Sichuan peppercorn and watch Hutong’s Great Wall of hand-carved wood panels pulsate to Miami’s latest Latin lounge music.

We strive to present the most authentic Roasted Peking Duck and for a more Special Experiences, our table side Roasted Flaming Duck.

The food was either very spicy or bland. I took my young daughter and the place was not ideal for her. Only one stall in the bathroom and it was clogged. Almost three hundred dollars for 3 people with no drinks.

Let me preface this as we went there for my wifes birthday who is from Shanghai and I have been over a dozen times. The good the bad and the ugly: The good: Lobster bag and roasted pork Bao were absolutely amazing. If we only had these for dinner I would probably elevate the experience to a 4. Texture, taste and presentation were on point. Definitely what we were hoping for from an elevated fusion experience. The flavors of the shrimp entrees were very well done The Bad: Unnecessarily over priced. I get it it's miami dinner in brickell is expensive, but this felt more expensive to just be expensive. Chinese food is meant to be table friendly and mostly shareable. 60$ dollars for a steak dish that was mostly bok chocolate and so small my wife didn't even take any cause she felt bad there wasn't enough. The ugly. Serving sizes embarrassing small. The Dan Dan noodles for 28 dollars was the size of a small cup of soup at a diner and it came out hot and noodles were super clumpy. They felt like someone forgot to make it and just dumped a order of noodles in a hot bowl and hoped we wouldn't notice. Back to it was served HOT. I have had this dish in over 20 places around the world and never had it served hot. This is a cold noodle dish meant to be shared. It wasn't spicy and the presented way made it seem more like a bad version of ramen over what it was meant to be. The most important part if a sandwich is the bread ask any Italian. Same goes for Asian cuisine when it comes to rice. The house special fried rice was so dry I thought they burned it. Unappealing, inedible, and was the cherry on top of experience of the evening. After all said and done, the staff was friendly they took the above items off our menu. The ambience was pretty but nothing overly special and even with one round of drinks and the removed items with tip our bill was over $400. For food quality and price Toku in Aventura and Kamodo are a much better experience and value

Hutong is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami! The food is just truly amazing and of very high quality. It has been tastefully decorated and I love the vibe. On some days, they have a DJ. Prices are not low but fully justified considering what you get. Their cocktails are great too - I would recommend the Sichuan Dragon! Great experience overall. I just love it!

We had the happy hour. Bar Food was well worth it. Excellent spring roll. The drinks however were all cloyingly sweet—get beer. We then had Miami Spice. Peking duck and dim sum fabulous! But Entrees were so hot and spicy they were inedible—we could only eat the rice. Even my hot food loving husband found it way too hot. The waiter should have asked us if we preferred mild or at least warned us. Desert nice, especially leechee sorbet. Next time, we would get only half Peking duck and morsels at happy hour.

Went for Miami Spice lunch. While the food was superb as usual, I believe the portion sizes for Miami Spice have gotten smaller. I will still go back for the fantastic duck, but probably not for Miami Spice.

Tried the spice dinner menu and it was overall a good meal. Highlight was the Pecking duck, low point was the Kung Po Iberico pork. Way too many chili peppers compared to the amount of protein. Ambiance is great, DJ music selection was great. Certainly not a place where you want to have a quiet dinner.
