Hurricane Juel’s 🌀 Established in 1945 sites on the historic little river waterfront. All of our seats have a view of the inter coastal waterway. 3 story location with Patio’s over the water as well as a beer garden with 350 + year old oak trees and live entertainment. Hurricane Juels has a large menu seafood brought in locals daily, many seafood dishes including low country boils and seafood towers. We also offer many steak and chicken dishes. And for the sushi lovers we have a sushi bar or order it to the table. Hurricane Juels has been a landmark for over 78 years. Look forward to seeing y’all here

Nice atmosphere, but the service was terrible. We had a 7:00 reservation. Ordered 2 appetizers for our table of 6. At 7:50 we checked to see what happened and a few minutes later they were brought to us cold. Only refills were offered for water and tea. No check on other drinks. At 8:15 the dinner order still had not arrived. Went to the manager and the food was then plated. We were offered a 10% discount. I only recommend this place if you want to waste 90% of your time.

Surf and turf did not arrive until everyone else was nearly done eating. Forgot the hush puppies with the cat 3 meal. Food tasted good, but one meal being served after everyone else ate ruined the dinner experience. They gave 10% discount to make-up, but we won't be returning.

Horrible restaurant. Live music so loud you couldn’t even hear the person sitting next to you. Food mediocre at best. The food took forever to come out. Waitress barely checked on table and messed up the food order. I DO NOT recommend this place in anyway. STAY AWAY !!!!

Live music was great but a bit loud to talk. Atmosphere is fantastic and the food was incredible. Adding to the rotation for each year we visit.

We have been traveling to Sunset Beach NC for vacations annually since 1996. And we could kick ourselves for not finding this gem until this week in Little River. Excellent food. My seafood boil of crab legs and shrimp was the best I believe I have ever had. Fresh legs and shrimp-probably a dozen of moderately sized shrimp and two huge crab clusters, plenty of good sausage, potatoes and corn. My wife had a lunch sized portion of shrimp and grits, a with abundant sweet fresh shrimp. Service was outstanding, our waitress was very attentive and engaging. Nice setting on the intracoastal waterway. We will definitely be back.

Hope to try again. Maybe we caught a bad night but there was live music that was unbearably loud. You could not talk to the person sitting next to you let alone the waiter. There were more empty tables than not, so the service was attentive. They were out of hush puppies and multiple different beers. Everything that was ordered was really good from apps to entrees did not hang out for desert, we were all itching to tab out to give our ears a break.
