Hurricane Juel’s 🌀 Established in 1945 sites on the historic little river waterfront. All of our seats have a view of the inter coastal waterway. 3 story location with Patio’s over the water as well as a beer garden with 350 + year old oak trees and live entertainment. Hurricane Juels has a large menu seafood brought in locals daily, many seafood dishes including low country boils and seafood towers. We also offer many steak and chicken dishes. And for the sushi lovers we have a sushi bar or order it to the table. Hurricane Juels has been a landmark for over 78 years. Look forward to seeing y’all here

Live music was great but a bit loud to talk. Atmosphere is fantastic and the food was incredible. Adding to the rotation for each year we visit.

We have been traveling to Sunset Beach NC for vacations annually since 1996. And we could kick ourselves for not finding this gem until this week in Little River. Excellent food. My seafood boil of crab legs and shrimp was the best I believe I have ever had. Fresh legs and shrimp-probably a dozen of moderately sized shrimp and two huge crab clusters, plenty of good sausage, potatoes and corn. My wife had a lunch sized portion of shrimp and grits, a with abundant sweet fresh shrimp. Service was outstanding, our waitress was very attentive and engaging. Nice setting on the intracoastal waterway. We will definitely be back.

Hope to try again. Maybe we caught a bad night but there was live music that was unbearably loud. You could not talk to the person sitting next to you let alone the waiter. There were more empty tables than not, so the service was attentive. They were out of hush puppies and multiple different beers. Everything that was ordered was really good from apps to entrees did not hang out for desert, we were all itching to tab out to give our ears a break.

Had stuffed flounder, fish overdone, too much bread in stuffing. Mahi Oscar was better.

Had a lot of rules over how to order. Server was very friendly though. Out of hush puppies which is crazy for a coastal sea food restaurant in Summer. Didn’t anything instead for menu items that included hush puppies. Mahi was severely overcooked. Other food was pretty good.

A wonderful dinner, right on the water. It was a joy to watch the boats come and go as we enjoyed our delicious food.

The view is amazing, and I love their oysters! I only missed the hush puppies because they were out of stock that weekend. Repeat customer, will return.
