Hunter's is a modern, suburban pub offering high-quality food and beverages, coupled with exceptional service. Unique elements in an inviting and social atmosphere create a sense of neighbourhood ‘place’. Creating Hunter's Public House was a long-time vision of Chef Charles MacInnis and Amy MacInnis. With young children, finding a kid-friendly place to eat out where they could also enjoy some amazing food with a great pint was tough. Hunter's Public House is just that! Hunter's food menu features a blend of classics and fresh creations, highlighted by locally sourced ingredients. Hunter's beverage menu features an Ottawa Valley exclusive draft beer line-up and extensive can/bottle selection. Hunter's also showcases craft sodas sure to delight the young and the young at heart. Julie has been my server twice in the last couple weeks and she’s a gem. The food was delicious as always. Love Hunter’s! Great spot in the neighborhood.

I’m sorry I didn’t get our servers name but she was outstanding. 5 stars isn’t enough for her. The person that took my call when I was running late due to an accident on the 401 causing a significant delay was also excellent. Great staff and great food.

Food was tasty but portions didn't cut it. Also, espressos bevies are by machine.. was like drinking water. Was told dish came with potatoes, showed up with salad. Server said, sorry gues it comes with salad. Also, asked the server for a condiment, never saw him again until the bill showed up. Overall, overpriced, unportioned. Probably not return.

Three of us sat on the patio in a booth and had a lovely lunch with great service. I had a delicious beet and walnut salad with grilled salmon. The patio is well sheltered and surrounded by greenery so that you don’t notice you are in an outdoor mall.

Service and food were good and the atmosphere was lively to say the least. We went on a Friday around happy hour so it was quite loud. The table next to us was quite rambunctious and based how the seating is set up, there was very little space separating us from them so it felt like we were part of their conversation the entire time we were there. No complaints at all about the food, service, or atmosphere. Would be nice if they had booths for a little bit of privacy. I would recommend and go again but without kids.

Kyra was awesome. She was so accommodating. And very pleasant. The food was okay. Not the best meal I have had there. But will go back!

Shannon, our server, was amazing. I don’t know what you pay her; but it can’t be enough! The food was incredible. We took Shannon’s suggestion re smashed potatoes..,ridiculously good! Buttermilk chicken Sammy and the beet salad—AMAZING!!! The single challenge is it’s a tad noisier than we like; but that won’t stop us from returning! We will k’just adjust the time we go.

Great service! The food was excellent, a little too much sauce on the tuna poke bowl, I would ask for it on the side next time. Dessert portions are small considering the price. Great restaurant!
