   The meal was very good - Oysters Rockefeller, Salmon and Crab Cake. Don't like the way the sides and the meat is piled up in the center of the plate, but that seems to be the trend. The noise level was a bit too high for my liking, but it was very busy. Service was excellent.

   Some food great, some just so so!!! Very noisy there but ok!! Our server was Wonderful!!!

   Great place, great location, and great food. Went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant wasn’t too crowded and had great service. Meal was delicious and portions were generous. Highly recommend.

   We went mid-day for drinks and appetizers. Everything was delicious, and our service was wonderful. I can't comment as to loudness because there weren't many people there when we were (3:00), but our food (chicken sticks, fries and brussel sprouts) were excellent, as were our cocktails!

   We had a great time, like always. Got the filet and shrimp, as well as brussels which are my favorite.

   Normally our many dining times there is a hit, but last night was a miss. The place was so loud, I couldn’t hear our guests across the table in our booth. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was so salty, could hardly eat it or taste any other ingredient. The Brussel Sprouts normally are lightly charred, but both of our orders were completely black from being over broiled. The split rib bbq sandwich that our guest had looked way overcooked and dry. He left half and I only finished 1/3 of my meal. On a positive note, the Butterfly shrimp were cooked to perfection.

   This was our first time dining at the Hunt Room at the Cavalier Hotel. We were celebrating our 32nd Wedding Anniversary. We both enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, especially admiring the large fireplace. We both ordered the Filet Mignon dinner and they were both cooked perfectly and seasoned just as well (I didn't even really need the side of steak sauce with mine). The staff was casual, but very professional. I think we found a new favorite local place to enjoy.

   Our waitress Casey was amazing right from the start, the salmon is absolutely to die for when it’s available as the catch of the day. Meghan the restaurant manager checked on us at the end of service to see how everything was and that was great because you don’t see that at a lot of places. I felt welcome. That’s the difference between service and hospitality.

    Good food, server Billy did a nice job, lively crowd in di ing room and interesting decor.
