First time here I chose the 3 course lunch menu variety of things to choose from I chose the salmon but unfortunately this was very bland and boring I didn’t feel any of it worked well together in terms of flavour I had some chips on the side but felt it could of done with more sauce and spices on the plate so left feeling dissatisfied. Apart from the meal the restaurant itself is amazing decor inside and good team of hosts very welcoming it was lunch time so it was pretty quiet.

I visited Hungry Olive on Friday night, and I must say, despite the lovely decor and the friendly, efficient waitress, our experience was highly disappointing. Upon arrival, we found the restaurant quite cold and asked for the air conditioning to be turned down. While the staff assured us they had increased the temperature, we still sat in our jackets for the rest of the evening. It felt like the staff didn't notice or care about our discomfort. The food and drinks were another major letdown. We ordered mojitos, which were awful, and even after returning them, we were still charged. The staff claimed they replaced them with two other cocktails, yet we were billed for both sets of drinks. This was a clear display of poor customer service. As for the food, it was atrocious. The orzo salad was essentially the olive starter with some orzo mixed in. The truffle pasta was inexplicably sweet, the monkfish was rubbery and hard, and the Tuscan chicken pasta had a watery, sweet sauce. The baby corn "main course" was laughable - more of a side dish but charged as a main. When we provided feedback to the manager, she was cold and uncaring, merely stating, "Thank you for the feedback, I will pass it on to the head chef." An apology for the poor experience would have been appreciated, but she wasn't even sorry that we had a bad time. Despite our main courses being barely touched, she didn't notice or care. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet we did not feel welcome. The only bright spot was the lovely waitress, and we felt bad complaining because she was genuinely nice. However, given the overall experience, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

First time here. Great decor and ambiance just right for a Friday night. Really nice menu, great quality food with some amazing flavours and the service was excellent. All staff were super attentive, friendly and very accommodating. The only negative for me, being a fairly large bloke, is the portion size is on the small side, it was fine for my wife. We will definitely return but not sure if I would bring my 2 hungry sons!! Overall though, very impressed and a fantastic addition to our lovely High St.

A lovely experience, the ambiance & atmosphere was lovely. Food was fab. The service was fantastic! Louisiana was very welcoming. Thank you. Would definitely recommend & return!

Was a nice place and decor. Food was very nice, the harrisa prawns were amazing.. but the seared sword fish wasn’t seared, more cooked through

Food was amazing. A little pricey yet good quality food. The service was good although was a little too quick. We had only just finished our starters and the main came out about two minutes later! Would recommend and a great addition to the high street.
