   The birthday experience was a 7/10. The food was great. The restaurant is smaller than expected, but it's good for drinks with friends.

   Had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and polite. Food was really good, and came out pretty quickly.

   Been wanting to try Huncho House since I saw a story on CBS News. It’s a 45 minute ride in good traffic, and obviously at dinner time, it’s problematic. Had the opportunity to combine with a concert at UMD College Park, so we had 5:30 reservations. We were given champagne tastes, not sure if it was because the AC wasn’t working on an unseasonably warm day. The dining room wasn’t crowded and we were not hot. The open kitchen and flowers hanging from the ceiling are nice. Some of the meal was delicious, but not all. Salad was particularly enjoyable with an interesting dressing, but the Wagu cheesesteak egg rolls were odd. It looked like a small stuffed potato because the egg rolls weren’t closed. There was nothing special about them and I kind of forgot what was in them. My lobster ravioli was outstanding, rich and flavorful. The chicken parm was massive but again, nothing special. We were too full to try dessert, but I would have liked to try the bread pudding. I say go to HH if you live nearby or can combine it with another event.

   We did the chef’s table experience and I did not miss! We were presented with several dishes from the menu and they all looked amazing! It was so difficult to just chose one but I got the lobster ravioli and my fiancé got the salmon and crab fried rice, we also got the Mac and cheese and spicy broccoli. Chef Tobias was such a pleasure. From the flavors to the presentation and customer service, the entire experience was incredible. We finished off with the vanilla bread pudding and the banana cheesecake which was the perfect ending to a great meal! We will definitely be back

   The perfect night out! From the moment we arrived, being greeted with some bubbly, until the final bite of dessert, our experience was exceptional! The service was top notch and each course flowed at just the right pace. For our family of 4, the oysters & eggroll amuse course was sized perfectly and absolutely delicious! We each struggled to choose from all of the incredible main course offerings, but ultimately selected the crab fettuccine, scallops with risotto & jerk short ribs, and accompanied them with the Huncho Mac & cheese and corn brûlée. Every single element was beautifully crafted & so flavorful that plenty of sharing around the table was required! Although too full for dessert, we decided to order one of each & don't regret one single bite! Although our first long-overdue visit to Huncho House, it will not be our last! The food, staff, ambiance, all made for the perfect night out, only to be topped by meeting the immeasurably talented Chef Tobias! Thank you Chef!

   It is a small restaurant. You are basically sitting on top of each other. Music was to loud to have a conversation at your table. Took long to get a drink from the bar. The kitchen is open so it is loud. Food is over priced for the service and ambiance. Appetizers we had we not great (deviled eggs and egg rolls). Chopped salad came out without any dressing on it. We informed the server and the kitchen. The kitchen stated it's a light dressing. Lol. So we had to show the kitchen the salad with no dressing but no apologies. It is easier to own up to your mistakes and not be defensive. The main dishes got better. The Jerk short ribs, great, the chicken parasman, good, the lamb chops good, the scallops not great. We had a couple of sides that were good. Most likely, I will not visit again. I will just stick with the District restaurants.

   I can't say enough about our experience at Huncho House. My wife and I went for her birthday and did the Chef Experience. From the time entering to the time leaving the staff was amazing. The experience allows you to watch the chefs prepare the dishes. As they finish a dish they bring it by you and tell you about it before they send it out to a table. They also bring you out a few samples of their dishes along with the food you order. The interaction is amazing...talking with the staff as they're prepping and cooking was great, we had a ball and spent most of the time talking with them that our dinner ended up being a whole 30-45 longer than we planned, cutting into our next event but no complaints. The food is out of this world....every single thing we had was amazing. The various sauces they created and used on many of the dishes created some amazing flavors. We had Wagyu egg rolls and chilli sauce, some amazing brussel sprouts, fried shrimp with an amazing type of sweet and sour kinda sauce. For the mains I had the fried Red snapper which came with sweet/spicy sauce...AMAZING!!! Wife had the scallops and risotto....AMAZING!!! And we shared some mac and cheese....AMAZING!!! I can't say enough about the flavors, the chef staff is so amazing!! And as a plus we got to meet Tobias at the end of our dinner. Such a cool and humble dude, and great to see him come back from his recent situation. He got us birthday shots for my wife before we capped off the night. Overall 5/5...great food and amazing staff who really takes pride in what they do. I recommend the chef experience too if you like to interact while you eat...we had so much fun! I wish I could remember everyone's names but from the front door staff to the kitchen A+++++++

   Fine dinining at its best!! I had the red snapper lobster Mac & cheese as an entree, my wife had the salmon over a bed of crab fried rice! Our appetizers were amazing, chargrilled oysters & wagu egg rolls were definitely on point! Drinks top tier especially that sidecar!

   The food was amazing! Cozy place with a great vibe. The staff was super friendly. And man, can they cook! We were offered champagne at the door and checked on throughout our dinner. We tried a few different dishes and everything was truly outstanding. It was a wonderful experience.

    Heard about huncho house and had to come and support! Was not disappointed! Started off with the deviled eggs, jerk lollipops, and wagyu cheesesteak egg rolls and the appetizers did not disappoint. For dinner got the spicy lobster rigatoni and loved it! Could have had more lobster meat though! I had the lavender lemon drop as a drink cocktail which was really good…took awhile to get the drink though, but came in time for my dinner. There’s so much to choose from the menu will definitely have to make another trip to try out the menu more!
