A little underwhelming, service was prompt but not focused on customer as it was their mechanically getting through the motions. Asked for some entrees to be split, they were not, only given extra plates. Lobster tail served without seafood fork to extract the meat. Server seemed busy elsewhere. Food was actually very good . Would not recommend based on price and experience offered

This was our last dinner in Hawaii. Overall the restaurant was fine but there are way better places to eat in Maui IMO. Prices are high (spent more than at Mama’s Fish House and got less food) and experience was ok. Our waiter forgot she took our drink order and then forgot we ordered appetizers. Fish was excellent but no sides are included with dish (just fish and sauce). Brussel sprouts were delicious! Would recommend sitting by fish tank bar if going.

Experience was ok. Food was left under warming lamp too long so fish came out overcooked. Taste was good. Overall it is overpriced. Waitress was very good.

Special dinner for our anniversary. Service attentive, romantic atmosphere, everything delicious. Pacific snapper was outstanding. Luau was going on but not too distracting. And like others have commented it was not easy to find, but the property is tropical and lush as we wandered through.

Food was good but not worth it for the price. Our service was also not great. The waiter never once came back to our table to ask how our meal was, if we wanted dessert, we basically had to hunt him down to order and get our bill.

For starters it is a very difficult Restaurant to get to inside the Grande Wailea Resort. We asked several employees on the grounds how to get there and it still took 20 minutes to find it with all the different walking paths around the pools and fountains, etc. They really should have little signs with arrows! Once we found it, the hostesses sort of chuckled when I told them what happened. The party in front of us had the same difficulty. The place was nearly empty, it is now over 10 minutes past our reservation time, they tell us to step aside and they are seating walk-ins before us. We even received a text while searching for this place saying our table was ready! This was really annoying. Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes before being acknowledged except by the man who gave us water. The menu has some really good choices but seriously, $54 for Hawaiian fish with 2 different sauces and microgreens sprinkled on it! No vegetables. No rice. Nothing. I asked about this before ordering, I ordered a side of rice. It was white rice, 1 cup to be exact for $10! And it was dry and cold! Vegetable sides? Fried Brussels sprouts that no way would I pair with the fish or any fish on the menu! This was a very disappointing end to what started out to be the best Birthday day ever! We are chalking it up for experience. If you want to spend money on a special dinner, DO NOT GO HERE! Go to Fairmont Kai Lani! Fabulous last year! Even Coconut’s in Kihei would be a much better choice than Humuhumunukunukuāpua’a! Save your frustration & money!

Upscale outdoor restaurant in the Grand Wailea. Nice setting between the hotel and waterfront, however far to close to the location of a stage for performances. Losing its flair and atmosphere due to beating drums sounding out the background music at the restaruant, location away from that would be wiser. Food was not prepared to what a price point facility would be expected. Salmon, borderline undercooked and swordfish dry. Appies of prawns and brioche were good. Entrees came out far to quick for upscale. Server was great. This location however is not worth the large price tag of about $130 per person. I can honestly say, the BLT I had in Olowalu was far more memorable and thought of.

Larry was/is fantastic. The view was worth the $35 per person “sunset package”. They made my anniversary special and we appreciate that. The pacific snapper & mud pie are a must.

My wife and I were married at the resort 25 years ago and had our reception dinner here. Way back then it was great, now not so much. Though service was fair the food taste/quality was substandard. The cost was out of this world as well. So I can sadly say that this will be our last time visiting this restaurant. :(
