Arrived and first thing Valet was rise and had an attitude. The resort feels run down, outdated, feels like you’re at Disney World. The service at the restaurant was good, excellent server and beautiful view, but the prices were unbelievably outrageous for the food. The food was just average. I assume that’s one reason they don’t share the prices on their website menu. Some guy in the lobby was acting erratically, seemed to definitely be under the influence of something more than alcohol, and was waving hand signals to us as he walked by, which left our youngest feeling pretty uneasy. Took about a half an hour wait to get our car back from valet on the way out. Would not go back, do not recommend.

I made an error when I made the reservation by selecting a different night. The staff was gracious and accommodating and, even though the restaurant was busy, they were able to quickly accommodate our large party.

Humuhumunukunumuapua'a (I hope autocorrect remembers this so I won't have to type it again) was a very lovely place to eat. The open air ambience and cuisine were both exactly what we hoped for. Our server, Michael, was incredibly helpful in guiding our selections and we were both very happy with the quality and presentation of the food.

Everything we ordered had way too much sauce. The salad had excess amount of dressing making it soggy, the prawns were also dripping in some bizarre sauce. The place is nice but the food was not as expected.

This is a beautiful place. Can’t beat the views. However, the food that we ordered did not live up to the price. A $12 beer? And an $80 filet? Should be the best beer and filet I’ve ever had however, it was not tender and I’ve had much better filet at a better price point. If you want the experience/ambiance then this is the place.

We had such a nice anniversary dinner last night! We live on Maui and this was a spot yet to try! Our table was beautiful, full ocean view reflecting off the pond surrounding the restaurant. We loved our little loveseat table, and the food was excellent. We loved the crab cake, the venison lumpia, the ube rolls with lilikoi butter in particular and the banana crème and malasada dessert is a must try too! And we really appreciated the Kamaaina discount. Our server was very attentive too! We will be back.
