    We sat outside which we prefer since the interior can be very noisy. BUT the band they had playing was a rock n roll band and although I like rock n roll I feel it’s not a good fit for the small space environment. They were WAY TOO LOUD! And the guitar players were drowning out the vocals.

    Our service and food was wonderful. Our server was so sweet, professional, and patient. He was worth 5-stars. That said, the manager and hostesses were rude and irrational. It is because of their demeanor, I’m leaving 3-stars. We had a reservation on the patio for 4:45pm on July 4th. Upon viewing the patio area, we noticed two tables were occupied, and the available ones were in shady and sunny areas. I asked if we could sit at a particular table in the shade but the hostess insisted that our reservation was at one of the tables in the sun. I explained that OpenTable didn’t give that option online while booking the table, so how can that be possible? Still, she insisted that she had to seat us in the sun and not one of the MANY shady tables that were available. I explained that we had a toddler and my husband has Parkinson’s but she simply did not care and her rationale made zero sense. When I spoke to the manager, he was condescending and curt. By the way, most of the tables, shady and sunny, on the patio were still available when we left at 6:30pm. I’ve been to Hudson’s several times and have always enjoyed the experience. After our family was treated this way, I doubt I will return.

    Our food was really good. The Calamari was overcooked but flavor was good. My husband had the ribs and thought they were terrific. Our friend had a steak and thought it was perfectly cooked and delicious. His wife had the mahi and found it uninteresting. I had the roasted chicken and thought it was delicious as were the sides of carrots and cheesy polenta. We were very disappointed with the service. Our waitress did not check back with us to see if we'd like additional drinks. My husband stopped a male waiter and asked him to let our waitress know that we wanted more drinks. He left and neither came for awhile. When he did come near again my husband asked where our drinks were. He told us the waitress was making them at that moment. After another wait our waitress did finally come to the table and asked us if we would like another drink. Obviously the young man gave misinformation. At this point my friend tried to explain what had happened and she got defensive and cut him off saying they were busy. The food was good so we will go back but we hope for better service.

    Service is great. Too much garlic and butter on the Filet mignon. And my wife said the ribeye was awful. She said it Was like a sirloin.

    Haley our server was great, even though she was quite busy running around always found time to check on us. The FOOD was awesome, we had the Ahi Tuna Nachos as an appetizer and they where awesome, my Pan Seared Grouper was cooked (or undercooked) to perfection, both sides were great, especially the hash! My wife had the Grilled Mahi, which was also awesome. The key lime pie was delicious too. The ambiance was great, good music loud enough to hear but so that we could easily talk to each other.

    Food was delicious. It ALWAYS is. Couldn’t be more fresh or well made. Value is excellent for what you receive and the portions are filling. The service is wonderful, very attentive and kind.

    Excellent food, excellent service, the hostess made arrangements for six of us and a baby even though we didn’t have regular table reservations.

    Father’s Day Brunch and they were not that busy; but could not bring 3 breakfast dishes out together after waiting an hour. Once food arrived it tasted like it had been sitting for 20 minutes. Definitely ruined our Father’s Day meal.

    Hudson’s was wonderful , but we sat right by the water at sunset and got eaten up by mosquitos. It was right after the first real Rain of the season so it wasn’t the restaurants fault. They even brought bug spray for us! Food and service were great!
