Drab on the outside but beautiful on the inside. The social hour menu delicious- not disappointed, pleasantly surprised! Alexis our waitress was caring and attentive. We will come back and bring our friends!

The food and service was very good. Waiter and owner came over several times to check on everything. I feel it would have been more crowded but the weather was lousy. Will come back again.

The food was very good. The wait staff was excellent. We were there on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was only 1/4 full. The entrance is in the back.

Wow! The ambiance is incredible, you think you are in a NYC restaurant but with an easy drive. This sets the mood/vibe and gets you ready for the food. We started with clams casino, which normally I am not a fan of, but my husband loves. Well he loved them and honestly I didn’t mind them and actually enjoyed. Main course, my husband is a steak guy and got the ribeye. Based on the fact he didn’t talk to me for 10 minutes meant he was too busy enjoying the perfectly cooked steak. I am not a steak person and decided gnocchi was the way to go. I will be honest they usually overcook gnocchi’s and make them mushy. Not here (and not even their specialty!). Portions are a good size and filling. Although I did manage to have a slice of NY cheesecake. Overall, if you haven’t realized it was a great experience! We are already planning our next visit and to bring some friends.

This place is beautiful the vibe was so surreal the service and the food was excellent I traveled all the way from Manhattan and it was worth it I highly recommend!

Hudson Square in Matawan is an absolute culinary gem! Delicious food, great vibes, and friendly service make it a top pick for a fantastic dining experience in Monmouth County. While I loved their previous menu, their new menu is absolutely superb. There are so many great options on the menu, it was hard to choose one. I chose the shrimp scampi and loved it! I’ll be back to try the others!

Nice place, a bit slow for a Saturday night , but it’s relatively new. Food was great, service was good too. We’ll be back
