Hubby had cheeseburger and coleslaw and loved it. Very large and saucy. I had French chicken and it was very tender and juicy but very salty.

The servers were super attentive constantly making sure we were good and even cracking jokes to make the ambience that much more enjoyable !

Celebrating a birthday at this restaurant was an unforgettable experience. The server went above and beyond to make the birthday guest feel special, adding a touch of magic to the evening. The delicious food, coupled with the festive atmosphere, made for a perfect birthday celebration.

Food: The food was amazing! I never would have thought that the best chicken I’d have would be from a seafood place. Service: However, the service continues to be sub-par for me. In 3 of the last 4 visits to the Lakewood location, I’ve noticed that my waiters treated other customers with enthusiasm and intent while engaging with me in a more transactional manner. Even though other customers may be “regulars,” I wouldn’t expect that to impact my dining experience.

Reservations seem to be required. Arrived on time, welcomed quickly and escorted to our table. Connor our waiter was friendly, attentive and helpful. Food delicious and well prepared, and hot. Our reservation was early and with happy hour the bar was loud. Enjoyed our meal and the excellent service.

I always love a restaurant that will accommodate a special request. Hudson House has delicious lobster rolls however I also love to switch out the cold mayonnaise for hot butter. Some call it Connecticut style, I call it yummy. Please note this is a special request that is not always available. Let’s say its the start of a secret menu.
