    It’s always a good vibe. Happy hour sometimes can take three hours. We stayed forever because it was so fun and delicious. I am a fan!

    I was a pretty disappointed this time in the Hudson House. I ordered the lobster roll and it was so heavy with mayonnaise that it was almost like tuna salad. Mayonnaise should complement the lobster not over-power it. The consistency way was off. Mushy like. The crispy rice salmon appetizer was also very disappointing. I’ve had it before here and it was so much better. This time the rice was so thick there was no way it was “crispy”. It was almost mushy. There needed to be more sauce and a bigger slice of jalapeno. Our server had the personality of a piece of wood. He literally didn’t smile - he didn’t even give us his name. Overall it was very disappointing for the amount of money we paid. I’m not sure we will be back.

    i had a party of 6! Sebastian, our waiter is the star of the evening. i had 4 grandkid. from college to 4 years old and my son in law! it was busy. every one was hungry, and wanting food. sebastian knew how to handle it. we got the avacado dip, that the kis launched into! and we needed more chips. he got them. the helpers were outstanding, too. sebastian, we need more avacado dip. i will pay for it. it came. it too was jumped on. i had my perfect manhattan and my granddaughter and her dad had your red wine. we ordered. as usual lots of requests in a short order. sebastian was perfectly suited to this table. lets see kids hamburger, steak (my granddaughter said it was great!) hamburger, no bun with broccoli great. chicken for the big granddaughter (oh the diet!) I had the hamburger and son in law had oysters! THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT! LIKE LOCUSTS! I GOT THE CHOCOLATE SILK PIE TO TAKE HOME. IT WAS DECADENT!!!!!!! ITS IN THE REFRIGERATOR < I COULD NOT EAT IT ALL! I NEED A SIDE OF TREADMILL! I EAT AT HUDSON HOUSE. I AM USUALLY VERY GENERAL ON MY REVIEWS. There is a special spirit of professionalism, joy and service here. GO THERE!

    Enjoyed our lunch…appreciate the grace with some of our party delayed due to an accident/traffic… Truffle fries were very good The chowder was not hot; we should have asked for it to be heated… Enjoyed fish tacos , delicious sauce and arugula salad as usual! Lobster roll delicious. Server was lovely and warned us that our table would be needed (after 2 hours) in 15 minutes.

    Such a fun spot to meet friends for happy hour! One of my favorites in turn! Frozen Bellinis, popcorn chicken and avocado dip are musts!

    Overpriced for the food quality. Food was so poorly done we had to go actually eat somewhere else. The staff completely ignored that we did not take more than one or two bites from the dish. Lobster roll was over seasoned with lemon and the breakfast wrap sausage was so overcooked it was hard. Not worth the money we spent. Went a few blocks over for less money and got better food and service. Skip this place.

    Had a wonderful lunch at Hudson House. We enjoyed a platter of mixed raw oysters with caviar and a bottle of our fave wine, Sancerre. Andreas guided our selection of oysters and a few other items. He was attentive and charming. Too bad we live in another state or we’d be regulars.
