Experience one of the best restaurants on Kaua'i and enjoy farm-to-table oceanfront dining from the elegant yet relaxed setting at Hualani's. Here, oceanfront dining is influenced by the seasons. What's fresh at The Farm at Hōkūala inspires the farm-to-table menu, while our bar serves up well-balanced craft cocktails that complement the seasonality of the kitchen. Our culinary experience is inspired by a sense of place and driven by local farmers, as well as fresh-picked ingredients from our on-site organic farm. From the morning harvest and the daily catch, Hualani's shines a hyper-local spotlight on the bounty of the Garden Isle.

Food was outstanding! It exceeded our expectations. They made a point to do a little something extra for our special occasion. Every staff member came up and acknowledged our reason for celebrating. All staff went above and beyond. We will absolutely go back again. Compliments to the chef, we had the sticky ribs, filet minion, French onion soup, scallops. Dessert was outstanding. All our cocktails were made perfectly. Thank you all for everything! Outstanding service, food, valet parking everyone made us feel very welcome to be there.

We had an amazing dinner for our anniversary. Danielle was a phenomenal server-great pace and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Was very crowded but still felt private. Great views. The food was amazing. We had the garlic shrimp fettuccine and the kampachi. The chili crunch poke appetizer was next level. We highly recommend and would happily visit again.

Disappointing experience as we were underwhelmed by some of the food (we barely ate the Seabass) and the service. Server was probably had too many tables but even with that excuse, not the standards we expect for those prices. We travel and eat out a lot and do not mind paying these prices but know what to expect in return. Rest of the food was good if not excellent and location is beautiful. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend.

We arrived a bit early for our reservation, and were greeted warmly, but informed that we would be seated after the earlier reservations were received. We were invited to sit outside at the bar where there is a beautiful view of the bay. After a short wait, we were greeted by the maitre’d, and escorted to our table. He was aware of our birthday event. Our server was very efficient, friendly, and observant. Service throughout was excellent. Cocktails were great. The appetizers and entrees were excellent. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our dinner and the beautiful view and sunset over the bay. We recommend the tempura lobster and the watermelon salad appetizers. The seabass entree was excellent. The wine list was very good. Overall, this restaurant checked all of our boxes for an excellent dinner: food, service, and ambience. We highly recommend Hualani’s.

We were very highly recommended to dine there, but our server was not very involved with much. He was late taking our order. Would disappear for the majority of our time there. He came to check on us only to forget what we asked for. The next time we saw him was for the check.

Manager Riley was outstanding got us a beautiful table and made us feel so welcome. Our server Steve was also take great care of us. They even arrange for us to see the whale.

Hualani’s is one of my favorite restaurants. The location is stunning and the food is consistently good. Very good, in fact. We go there for breakfast or lunch and I have the same dishes again and again. Today I had my usual lunch of Blackened Fish Sandwich. YUM! I also had a Mai Tai (my first here, because— after all — we always have lunch or breakfast ) and it was outstanding! We’ll be back.

Really enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Beautiful restaurant and amazing food. Appreciated the complimentary anniversary dessert as well. This was our second time dining here and certainly not our last.

My wife and I shared the sea bass and the snapper. Both were outstanding and it was the best dinner we have ever had in Hawaii. I would especially recommend the sea bass. And how can you go wrong with the mesmerizing view! The bread pudding was a disappointment, and I would recommend looking for something else for dessert. But we were so pleased with the food and the experience that we are going to be sure to go back again before we leave Kauai.
