What started as just a counter and a few tables has grown into a place where generations come together to celebrate summer at the Jersey Shore! Famous for the Original French Fried Lobster and award winning chowder, Howard's has been serving Long Beach Island visitors and locals since 1950!

Food was great. Fresh oysters , crispy calamari .The scallops were perfect as was the tuna.

Service and food were terrific….seated on time and quick service. Start your finish was 1 hour exactly. Very noisy….baby yelling throughout —- realize can’t be helped, but it was difficult to enjoy the evening.

Went to Howard's Seafood Restaurant to try the french fried lobster and wasn't disappointed. I had the french fried lobster and crab cake combo and it was to die for. My husband had the fried scallops and he said they were one of the best he's had - large scallops, fresh and juicy.

The Lobster bisque was excellent!! My husband had the clam chowder and it was equally delicious! We had the fried lobster and after the soup and salad could have shared it! Service was great! Will definitely come again!
