We at Houston White Co. are proud to be the the Culinary Coast's premier farm to table steak experience. Throughout the years, we have forged relationships with some of the finest meat purveyors and local farmers.     This was our fourth year here to celebrate my birthday. This time was very disappointing! The seats were very close and every time a server walked by me they hit my chair. Plus my husband and I could not hear one another, too loud. The risotto was okay, not impressive. My steak was very good but they asked me to cut through the center to confirm the correct tempature of the meat. I refuse to cut my steak and lose my juices just to appease a server. Plus the manager went to every table to check the service level but ours. We just did not feel very welcomed. I guess I’ll be celebrating my next birthday at Blue Moon. Very very disappointed!! I hope the service had nothing to do with our ethnicity.

    We did not have the same experience as couple of times we dined there. The service was very slow, especially for drinks and even water refills. For such a high price point we should have better service. The noise level also made conversation a challenge unless we talked very loudly. The food was delicious but honestly other steak houses in the area are just as good with better service and without paying to park. We wanted to love it as much as our last visits but unfortunately we did not.

    We always get great cocktails, food and wine at Houston White. It’s a great place for celebrations.

    Always a great dinner- from the hostess( Kathy) to the bartender and staff ! Can not beat a great dinner out.

    As if I cooked it myself, the steaks were perfectly done to our liking. cocktails were fabulous! Will definitely come again.

    Seated a few minutes prior to reservation. Provided complimentary sparkling wine for anniversary. Shrimp cargot different and tasty. Wedge salad enjoyable. Ribeyes were unfortunately more fatty than desired but quite good as far as cook temp goes. Pricing slightly steep but it is a vacation town. 8 bucks for 2 oz of horseradish sauce a little much. Wait staff was excellent and enjoyed the meal overall. Would definitely return to try the seafood options.
