Went there because my friend had been in the Glasgow House of Gods outdoor bar and said it was amazing.. Edinburgh was so disappointing.. at the bottom on a hill in what looked like an office building.. we were greeted and told to sit right beside where check in desk is in what looked like an area you would wait to pick up your Chinese take away. It’s extremely small, very dark and very pretentious. Cocktails are overpriced, there are far too many staff with nothing to do. We were there at the weekend during the Fri ge and the small ‘bar area’ was empty. Do not waste your money. We left after 1 drink.

We didn’t have food, only cocktails which were average. The staff were very welcoming and friendly but we wont be rushing back as it wasn’t anything special.

its small, and has gorgeous deco, but seemed to have no vibe which is strange. drinks are nice but overpriced. Casablanca is better but it was closed for a refurb.

Amazing cocktails! Booked here as we were staying in the suite, and I honestly wish we had booked for longer! The cocktails were amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed and beautiful, and the bar staff could not have been more helpful! You know it’s a good cocktail bar when you see the team really go out their way to make amazing cocktails and it definitely shows! We will 1000% be back, thank you for some amazing cocktails!

This is such a special place because there is no where like it. The ambience, the class, mahogany walls, mood lighting, table service, think of 50s Chicago. I would love to stay in the hotel here to really get the full experience, which I definitely will be doing!
