Service was very poor and slow. No hos present at the desk when the sign said clearly “ please see host to be seated.” My daughter and I stood there for over ten minutes before we were acknowledged and the place was not busy at all. They have an automatic 18 percent gratuity added to their checks so clearly they don’t have to care about their service or quality because they get a tip regardless. I’m from Virginia and only see gratuity added to parties of 6 or more. There are no refunds either. The eggrolls were fried so hard I could’ve broke my tooth and did not even eat them. I was charged almost $50 on two drinks in which they tasted like nothing but cranberry juice and the color or the drink would reflect that yet I asked for a double shot of grey goose each time. I don’t believe the bartender was a bartender and I observed him drop a martini shaker on the ground, pick it up and use it without washing it. The ribeye steak was heavily seasoned and so salty I could not eat it. All the food at the tables was boxed and thrown away. My daughter got jambalaya which was loaded with undercooked peppers they might’ve been raw . Three shrimp were on the jambalaya literally she counted and showed me. My bill came to $190 with two entree two drinks and two apps. I was so disappointed with my visit here at this restaurant as it was my last night in this city and a horrible experience. The only thing good was the music. I would like my money back but I’m sure the restaurant won’t care about this review nor honor it on the behalf of their horrible service and food

Our waiter was great. We had wait a little for the waiter to come to our table. The food was good. We had the bang bang shrimp, catfish, cornbread, and fried rice. Music and ambience was really nice.

I had a caesar salad, creole wings, seafood mac and cheese, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was good. Will definitely return next time I'm in Cleveland.

We made a reservation for a Saturday night, the kitchen was backed up but the hosts and servers both made sure we were okay waiting for our food a little longer. When the food arrived it was genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever eaten and well worth the wait. The vibes were immaculate. The server was very apologetic over the wait on food and took more than we expected off our bill. We felt very taken care of and it was a wonderful birthday celebration.

We've been wanting to try the House of Creole for quite a while. It definitely did not disappoint.
