    For such a busy day waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for 2 mains and a kids meal was beyond ridiculous. Most tables were reserved so they would have been more than aware of the staffing levels they needed. Food was very expensive for the serving size. Disappointed.

    This was our first time at the Hound & stag. The venue is really cool and the staff were amazing. The food was good. I found the drinks to be overpriced. They served an aperol spritz in a small wine glass, not a cocktail glass which at $19 meant that I only had one of those! We will come back for tribute nights etc but wouldn’t come there again just to have dinner and drinks just because of the price of the drinks.

    Food was lovely, venue is fantastic, background music was way too loud before the show started which prevented any conversation at all

    Bar snack food menu, ideal for grabbing a quick bite before a show. Kitchen is always busy, so must be a good sign.

    Great night out, enjoyed the open mike entertainment, such a great idea to promote up and comers. Fish tacos were excellent.

    Unfortunately, we booked for this restaurant and when we arrived they said they couldn't honour the booking, as they hadn't reserved the table. Please note, that half the tables were empty. Whether just inexperienced staff, the girl only looked 18, and perhaps shouldn't have been on maitre d. Very disappointing as didn't even get to taste the food
