Join us for special events and holidays on Hotel Boulderado's Mezzanine and Ballroom. Hotel Boulderado's special events and annual holiday traditions are not something to miss featuring seasonal chef-inspired menus. The Mezzanine is set in the historic wing under a beautiful stained-glass canopy overlooking the charming lobby. The spacious, sunny Ballroom is located in the north wing along Broadway and Pine Streets.

We’ve loved attending the Boulderado for holiday tea in years past. Service was great, but the food this year was sub par. I actually highly suspect most of it was from Costco. Highly disappointing.

The carolers were great. The hotel is beautiful table settings, awesome! I love starting off with a glass of Prosecco, that was nice. I was disappointed with our experience overall at $42 a person, totaling $200 with auto grat. Of 20% and an additional gratuity. This tea is served with a lunch buffet so don’t eat beforehand and it is something that could have been put on the tea tray in small portions. We had three in our party we had to split all of the small sweet treats, which were bite size. There was no Devonshire cream, lemon curd, and cream for your tea, unless requested. It was not offered. For a place who has deep history I would’ve expected their high tea to be more traditional. Our server gave us our tea so early. It was cold by the time we drank it. The hotel has other great events so we’ll return for those but not their tea. It was too expensive for what they offered. Our server was super nice but the flow of our experience was just off. Parking is free on the weekends a block west in the town parking garage or you can valet for much more. Street parking is available for about $6 with the kiosk or app. My expectation was for a traditional high tea in a historical hotel, so it was on me that i didn’t ask more questions about it.

This is our third or fourth year coming to the Holiday Tea at the Hotel Boulderado, and it is easily one of our favorite holiday traditions here in Boulder! The hotel is gorgeous, the food is consistently wonderful, and the service is always outstanding! A special shout-out to hostess Jules, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a delightful experience. The employees at the Boulderado are just spectacular, and we leave happy every time we’re here. Don’t miss this Boulder gem!

The holiday tea is such a nice idea: the singers are great and ambiance is great, but the food is horrible. Seems like a bunch of packaged things that they just heat up and charge a ton of money for. There are also NO options for someone who may have a more specialized diet.

We have been attending the Hotel Boulderado Holiday Teas for several years now and they are always an outstanding experience. The staff are warm, friendly, and efficient, and the food is excellent and the historic hotel is always beautifully decorated for the holidays. It's fun to see the wide range of people who attend, from small kids enthralled by the sights and sounds (especially the carolers) to seniors enjoying the ambiance. Highly recommended.

We've been coming for about 30 years and look forward to it each Christmas season! Our reservation was for 1:30, but we had to wait for an available table for nearly 40 min. After we were seated, it was another 10-15 min before our waiter arrived. We've never encountered a wait to this degree. The food and beverages were wonderful! Piano music was very nice, but a bit too loud for our conversation. Beautiful decor and loved the Nutcracker at each table!

This was my partner and I’s first time doing the thanksgiving buffet at the hotel and it was a good experience overall. We arrived on time but it took 30+ minutes past our reservation time for us to get seated and to get a waiter (we were initially told it would be just 10 extra minutes), but once we got past that hurdle it was a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, there was a large variety of classic thanksgiving staples as well as festive holiday cocktails from the bar. Our waiter consistently checked in on us and cleared our plates in between trips. There was a piano player in the mezzanine as well which made for nice ambiance. It was a little cramped at points navigating around to the different food stations but the lines were never long and there was plenty of food the entire time. As a couple that loves thanksgiving food but doesn’t want to cook for just ourselves this was a great option for my partner and I, we both agreed we would do it again in the future.

My husband and I had a lovely TG Dinner at the Boulderado. The food was nicely prepared and plentiful. The serve staff was attentive. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. There was even a live pianist playing in the dining area. We truly loved it and will make this a TG tradition in years to come thank you for the hospitality
