Simply outstanding from the moment we walked in. Super service from the very pleasant waitresses and we were served up an absolutely superb meal and complimentary glasses of bubbly. Wonderful atmosphere within the restaurant aided by a very good singer making it a night to remember while visiting the Host on our Ruby wedding anniversary. Many thanks and hope to visit again next year.

We had a delicious meal at Host. The food was interesting + very tasty. The service was great and the ambience was very plush Italian.

Absolutely fantastic venue, the best pizza we have eaten outside Italy and amazing value. We would recommend Host to everyone, it definitely is the Place to Meet and Eat 👍🏻

The pizza was fine but the gnocchi was very oily which spoilt the dish, so would not recommend that. Also a very small portion for the £15 and definitely would not have filled a hungry person. We didn’t realise there was live music on when we booked and probably wouldn’t have gone that night had we known. Had it been mellow jazz it would have been ok but the duo was very loud and the songs very uptempo so for us this slightly spoiled our evening.

Really love it here and come back whenever we are in st Ives. Pizzas were great - but were a little on the cold side. But tasted good.

Our first visit having thought it looked really nice since it opened, but didn't realise it is dog friendly until now. There were 3 of us, two had pizza and one had sirloin steak, all of which were amazing. Staff were great. The only slight negative was the table we had (in the naughty corner) was quite dark.

We felt very welcome as we arrived at Host and were not disappointed with the food which was excellent. The pizzas were delicious and the desserts were divine. I had a gluten free pizza and it really was tasty best I’ve had in a restaurant. Staff were attentive without being intrusive . A really lovely evening. Well worth a visit for food or just for a pre dinner drink
