The food was amazing. The staff that served us was very abrupt. Did not make us feel welcome, almost as if we should be grateful for being there., almost as if he didn't have time to serve us.

As always, excellent food and ambience. Giles was a superb host, so friendly and attentive. Will be back in the week for lunch. 5*.

Great food and a good selection steak, chicken, fish, burgers and vegan choices. The Crispy chilli chicken starter is amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive.

We went for a Sunday roast after seeing it recommended on the bishops Stortford community fb page. It did not disappoint! The beef was gorgeous and tender and the pork was very yummy. Staff were so friendly and helpful - I will be definitely going back.

The best roast we have found locally, we come from Great Dunmow for your delicious food. So delicious and a good range of vegetables.
