Horseshoe Grill in North Reading has been family-owned since the 1920s when it was originally a supper club for members only. That changed in 1957 and, since then, patrons have come from all over to sample the famous ribs that have made Horseshoe Grill an institution. The relaxing atmosphere inside makes it the perfect place to get to work on a rack of ribs, lobster Rangoon, Thai chili calamari or nachos. There is lighter fare at Horseshoe Grill too like the Asian chicken lettuce wraps, cheese quesadilla, ahi tuna and summer fruit salad. There are gluten-free options on the menu too.

I had the seafood casserole, very delicious, just wish there was more. My husband had the meatloaf, he loved it. We are never disappointed

Have dined here many times and have always been pleased. However, this was the first time on a Sunday and was very disappointed. Service was minimal at best. Waitress took our drink and appetizer order. She came back 20 minutes later for our dinner order and we then didn’t see her until it was time for the bill. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy, we were there 45-60 minutes before being served our dinners. At the end, it took the server 10 minutes and three visits to the table to account for my proper rewards on the bill.

Ive been here alot- food is usually good- my last experience food was meh at best- the quality to me wasnt there- fish is usually spot on- it was paper thin, over cooked and the seasoning was different and not in a good way- We’ll take a break and possibly come back still not sure once i see quality go down it doesnt recover well - sad because it was our go to

They have gone way downhill. Service was slow at best. . We got the lettuce wraps and it has so much sweet sauce it was hard to eat. Ok we will just wait for the meal. I had haddock tacos. The fish was so dry and overcooked it was not edible. The fries were cold and crunchy. I server asked if I wanted to take my meal home and said no thanks and told her why. Her response was then I will just get the check. Will not be back

We have been there several times and we will hesitate to return. I got the chicken fajita. It had very large portions and 3 tortillas. When I asked for more tortillas I was told we charge for more. It was not the cost but the feeling of being nickled and dimed. If they’re so open about this where else is it occurring. Nice experience turned sour for us.

Hello FT12 We have been serving fajitas for just a short time and gave 3 tortillas to fill. We have since changed it to 4 tortillas. Thank you for the feedback. It is a very large portion of chicken fajita! Thank you

We had a group of six on a late Sunday afternoon. The waitress was outstanding. We couldn't have been happier with the service. The food was mixed. My wife ordered chicken pot pie. It was HORRIBLE! it was basically a bowl of chicken soup with a piece of puff pastry floating on top. The rest of the food was very good.

I went with friends for lunch. Two of them got the Chop Salad and I got the Reuben and fries. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I don't get a Reuben often, but this will be my "go to" place when I have a craving for one. The service and staff are friendly, patient, and helpful. The restaurant and the bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

This place advertises Award winning BBQ. Absolutely was not. The pulled pork was dry and the ribs were not falling off the bone. Mediocre at best. Will definitely never return here.
