We are a warm, friendly pub situated in West Parley, Ferndown, serving traditional pub food every day till 10 pm. We have a wonderful, friendly team who are always happy to help. Families always welcome up to 9 pm, and we have a children's menu which includes a free dessert! We have a great selection of local cask ales, from The Dorset Brewing Company, and Ringwood Brewery, and run a collector card alongside the real ales where after 7 pints your 8th is free! We take bookings for anything from an evening out for two, to larger groups for birthdays and other celebrations, so please feel free to either call or email to make a booking with us. We have a large beer garden, with plenty of seating, so while the weather is nice why not come and sit outside and enjoy our great food and drink.

Good reception. Polite staff. Food mostly good, but the half a lemon on the fish and chips was burnt and too hot to hold and the dishes for the peas and tartare sauce were also too hot. However, the starters were great and the main course enjoyable. NB Those with disabilities are escorted to that toilet as the key is not given out.

Very good food. Good size portion friendly staff. But I think the disabled toilet should be available to use rather than locked.

I had chicken with chorizo sauce, spinach, new potatoes. Chicken was dry and spinach not cooked at all. My friends had the fishcake and lasagne. They were not impressed either and said they would not return to the Horns again. I realise the prices are kept at a reasonable level but you still need to be able to eat the food. Think I would prefer to pay a bit more for a more enjoyable lunch

It was great until a group of 10 plus women turned up for I guess an office party, which I totally get, but the noise?

Much improved upon previous visit. Staff attentive and polite. The whole place felt more welcoming.

Welcomed by the barman with a smile. Easy to order Food was hot & tasty and good value. A little while ago we were disappointed with our visit to the Horns but we thought we would give it another try& we were pleasantly surprised. Well done to the team, we will be back.

We arrived at 6.30pm for our booked time and no one was available to check us in, as the two available staff were busy serving at the bar. We eventually stopped a server to ask where our table was and he said pick one that has a reserved sign on it. Which we did. The food was okay, but the pub was very short staffed.

An excellent venue for meeting up with friends, bar staff friendly, young waitress who came from Minorca very nice indeed, nothing too much trouble, including taking a couple of photos for us
