We are a warm, friendly pub situated in West Parley, Ferndown, serving traditional pub food every day till 10 pm. We have a wonderful, friendly team who are always happy to help. Families always welcome up to 9 pm, and we have a children's menu which includes a free dessert! We have a great selection of local cask ales, from The Dorset Brewing Company, and Ringwood Brewery, and run a collector card alongside the real ales where after 7 pints your 8th is free! We take bookings for anything from an evening out for two, to larger groups for birthdays and other celebrations, so please feel free to either call or email to make a booking with us. We have a large beer garden, with plenty of seating, so while the weather is nice why not come and sit outside and enjoy our great food and drink.

Very good food. Good size portion friendly staff. But I think the disabled toilet should be available to use rather than locked.

I had chicken with chorizo sauce, spinach, new potatoes. Chicken was dry and spinach not cooked at all. My friends had the fishcake and lasagne. They were not impressed either and said they would not return to the Horns again. I realise the prices are kept at a reasonable level but you still need to be able to eat the food. Think I would prefer to pay a bit more for a more enjoyable lunch

It was great until a group of 10 plus women turned up for I guess an office party, which I totally get, but the noise?

Welcomed by the barman with a smile. Easy to order Food was hot & tasty and good value. A little while ago we were disappointed with our visit to the Horns but we thought we would give it another try& we were pleasantly surprised. Well done to the team, we will be back.

We arrived at 6.30pm for our booked time and no one was available to check us in, as the two available staff were busy serving at the bar. We eventually stopped a server to ask where our table was and he said pick one that has a reserved sign on it. Which we did. The food was okay, but the pub was very short staffed.

An excellent venue for meeting up with friends, bar staff friendly, young waitress who came from Minorca very nice indeed, nothing too much trouble, including taking a couple of photos for us

My first time at Horns Inn. A friend and I had lunch. Staff were casual and did not seem pleased we were there, even though I had booked. We were hastily told we would need to order at the bar. At my apparent disappointment, I was told, "We're only a pub." Pointing across the room we were told, "That's your table," and left to make our way to it. Fortunately, my companion had picked up a menu as we weren't offered one. The lunch time selection was not great, but varied enough. There was no separate place at the bar to order food, so it was necessary to wait for those just wanting drinks. The starters took quite a while to arrive. They were enjoyable, but when finished there was about a 25 minute gap before the main courses arrived whilst the dirty dishes remained on the table. The young man who brought the mains said, "Oh, Haven't these been cleared away yet," but he didn't apologise. Again, good food and plenty of it so good value in the edibles. In all we were there over 2 hours and the main course plates were never cleared. There was a definite sense of lethargy about the staff in general and certainly no welcome for newcomers. Even in pubs were there is no table service as such, tables are cleared.
