Hopheads is a bar and bottle store dedicated to selling the absolute best Australian and International beers.

Our original store was founded in May 2015 and stemmed from the relevant question (at the time) – ‘why aren’t there any good beer stores and bars in the west?’

Founder and beer afficionado Adrian Chong (and long suffering partner Wai Lee) were tired of having to travel across town to access quality beers, so they took it upon themselves to right this egregious wrong – and so the idea of Hopheads was born.

Hopheads has since expanded to a second store in Altona, injecting some young blood into the team in the form of the somewhat magnificent Ryan Cochrane.

We remain passionate about making the West-side the best-side for beer in Victoria. The story and journey of Hopheads is a long way from finished, stay tuned

Purchased a bottle of wine to consume inside the venue for $32 and was changed $50. When queried the price they advised I had to pay corkage. If I came in with my own wine I would totally understand but I purchased it at the bar to drink at a booked table. Absolutely ridiculous price!!

Always a great venue with great choice of beers on the tap menu. Service is friendly and knowledgeable.

A great spot for a casual drink or a celebration. The BYO food option means you can enjoy one of the meals from neighbouring restaurants and a drink from HopHeads at the same time.
