Located in a historic train freight depot, this location features a multi-season outdoor patio, private event space, and a special installation of guitars from Kalamazoo's own Heritage Guitars. We're a short walk from Bell's, Arcadia, and other downtown breweries and beer bars in this great beer city.

HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce. From burgers to tacos, our menu offers a range of delicious options.

Had an early reservation for brunch—- Food and service was great. Recommend getting there early for brunch, beat the rush. Will be back.

We had a great time at HopCat. Our table was ready immediately and the service was good. When my Mom didn’t like her meal (the bbq sauce was too spicy for her, but she had a low tolerance), they gladly replaced it with no issue. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable. We would definitely come back! My only recommendation is to give yourself plenty of time because parking can be hard to find on the weekends

The HopKat was amazing! So far the best experience we have had in Kalamazoo. I would come back just for the pickle back chicken! Absolutely amazing for pickle lovers!

The appetizer sampler had many tasty components. The cozmik brownie was so chocolatee and I loved the chewy texture!!!

Went to dinner with another family, they had our reservation and seated us right away. Prompt service, good drink selections. Had the hangover burger and fries - it was fantastic. Everyone else seemed to love their food. We’ll be back for sure.

My food was over fried and the cocktails were just okay. Waiter was also not the friendliest or attentive. He was not rude, just seemed like he was rushing our ordering process.

Great service - we had a 10 top- she did a fantastic job - we all liked the food and variety of beer and drinks - most of us didn’t care for the seasoned fries - would have preferred plain - we will definitely come back - want to try the breakfast/ looked amazing
