We had a nice dinner, with great music. It's is loud with the music so just depends what you prefer. There is a surcharge added (perhaps for the music) we had a fu. evening and enjoyed our dinner, great service.

The music was good with a fun atmosphere. The food could be better. The burger was not good at all.

We enjoyed our chicken, leek and bacon pies except there was no bacon and microscopic leeks. Still yummy. Great servers and music

First - the open session music was a joy to listen to. Talented and definitely the best part of our evening. For our dinner reservation - I’m sure we were not the first to have missed the fine print that each person must order a main dish in order to have a table reservation. Because two of us have food allergies, two out of our party of four ordered a combination of small plates. Our young waitress seemed to think it would be ok. It definitely was not. See below. Additionally, due to her age, our drinks order was brought in pieces after much negotiation (we ordered gin and tonics). From then on, she wasn’t interested in servicing us and eventually brought her supervisor on to take over. She was less than kind in telling us we shouldn’t have been allowed to order small plate combos and wasn’t interested in helping us sort out a gin and tonic order. Our bill was incorrect, showing two dishes we didn’t order and charging for one that we did order. They definitely wanted us gone. I envied the people downstairs who were just there for bar drinks. Would love to hear music there again, but will stick to the bar.

Made our reservation online since it is so hard to get in to. With the reservation, each person HAS to order a main meal. If you fail to show up you are charged 10 pounds per person. We were showed to our table and told the band was to start at 6, our reservation was for 515. You can only have a table for 2 hours so we figured this was plenty of time to eat and listen to the music. Joke was on us, our snarky waiter told us that the musicians “forgot” they had to play that night and wouldn’t start until 7. Mind you it was a Friday, not sure how many musicians forget a Friday gig, but whatever. Needless to say, 15 minutes after they started we were asked to leave because our time was up. Food was good, waiter had an attitude and could have had a little better. This also isn’t accurate: Your table will be booked for 1 hour 30 minutes for parties of up to 2; 2 hours for parties of up to 4; 2 hours 30 minutes for parties of up to 6; and 3 hours for parties of 7+. Granted it was early in the evening but we went for the music that didn’t happen when it was supposed to and with a party of 6 we spent a good amount of money. And ended up feeling like we were coo cattle. Certainly not worth the hype.

This place is great. Great fun service. Fantastic food. And the live entertainment is off the hook.

It was our first time to Inverness. Food was excellent, musicians were fantastic, and we really enjoyed visiting with the pup Bailey! Thank you for a memorable evening.
